he took of his rimless, rectangular chanel sunglasses before walking inside the pretty little coffee shop.

"felix.", he acknowledged the nervous australian, who smiled, his eyes glimmering with gratefulness upon seeing the familiar blonde.

"oh, seungmin. i'm so glad you came. i thought—"

"hyunjin has hurt me alot and what he did.. it was a monstrous deed. but i know something is off, and my gut-feeling has never been wrong."

"same.", felix, seriously admitted, before taking a seat infront of seungmin, and gulping down his glass of water at once. god— he was so restless. "i knew you were smart enough to realise it. no wonder, you've always had impeccable grades.

the younger rolled his eye, "yes, lee, i know i'm flawless. can we get serious now?"

"ofcourse, first of all, tell me everything you know about lee minji.", the australian spoke.

"i did my all homework.", seungmin proudly stated before pulling out a fat binder from his bag and pulling out a few pages out of it.

the red haired male stared at him wide-eyed, "you seriously concern me sometimes."

seungmin giggled evilly, "trust me, lee. you'll be thanking me after this.", he said before handing him a sheet of paper.

yongbok carefully studied it, before looking up at the shorter, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "what is this?"

"it's lee minji's clinical history.", seungmin nonchalantly replied while taking a sip of his tea.

the red haired male's mouth flew open, "how the fuck did you get this—"

"my father used to be her and her mother's gynecologist before they moved. i skipped my beauty sleep last night to get this shit.", the younger pouted adorably.

"there are too many scientific terms here, i don't fucking get it. please explain", he truthfully confessed, handing him the paper back.

seungmin sighed and pointed at one of the sentences, "you see, minji had problems."

"clearly.", felix replied.

"no, dumbass, i'm not talking about her mental health. basically, puberty hit her quite late."

"i'm pretty sure it hasn't hit her yet, she's flat as a board—"

"felix! stop joking!", seungmin growled, "it isn't just about her not having tits. she had her period late."

the red head frowned, evidently dissappointed, "doesn't that confirm the fact that she was indeed pregnant?"

"no, felix. she had her first period late. do you know what that means?", he smiled knowingly.

"are you implying she faked her pregnancy at 13, and everyone's dumbass believed her?", felix questioned. as much as he wanted it to be true, it sounded truly pathetic that a thirteen year old girl got away with a lie that big.

"but she was a drug addict, sexually active  with hyunjin and allegedly depressed when she was thirteen, her being pregnant shouldn't have come out as a suprise . her parents had refused to speak to anyone, including minho himself, about anything and had ultimately dissappeared in the end because they were clearly humiliated. they neither refused, nor denied anything."

"so it's impossible for her to have been pregnant?", the older asked again, a little confused but gradually catching on.

the blonde nodded, "not impossible. being pregnant isn't related to periods but more dependent on ovulation—

"but if you look at this,", he pulled out another paper from the binder, "dad claimed that minji was suspected to have polycystic ovary syndrome, and it's apparently not abnormal, plenty of teen girls have it. it can be cured, yes, but she didn't receive a treatment. so i can assure you that minji saying she was pregnant at that point of time would be a straight up fucking lie."

felix gasped, grabbing seungmin's hands excitedly, "holy shit, kim. you're a genius! i could kiss you!"

"please don't, changbin will crush my balls. now let's teach that bitch a lesson—"

"i'm suprised hwang actually confessed everything.", minho admitted while taking a sip of his mocktail.

"i can't believe i've been his best friend for years and didn't know this shit.",

minho watched his friend finish his drink in one go, feeling bad for him, the boy deserved to recover from all the bullshit thrown at him the past few days.

"he said he loved him, you know.", the brunette muttered quitely, a small smile decorated on his face, "hwang fucking hyunjin in love— who would've thought?"

the older didn't say anything, just let him speak. clearly, the boy needed to talk all his problems out.

jisung continued, "i would've been so happy for him, but it had to be the boy i was dating. he's such a jerk, heavens. he could've just told me back then."

"don't you think he hid it from you in the first place because he didn't want to ruin your friendship?"

jisung scowled at his friend, "are you trying to defend him after what he did to your sister?"

the older male sighed, shifting closer to him, "i don't think I'll ever be able to like hyunjin. but he was a lost kid back then, it wasn't entirely his fault. besides, if he hadn't warned my parents about minji's addiction, we might've even lost her. it was a smart decision from his side. i can hate him but i can't constantly blame him for what happened."

"you think that asshole deserves a second chance? i mean regardless of what he thought as a kid, he ended up ruining our friendship in the end after all.", the brunette said, somewhat lost in his own thoughts.

"seungmin was his first love, jisung. it's hard to forget about them. i mean, i know i'm still not over mine."

jisung looked up, only to realise how close minho's face had gotten to his. unconsciously, he leaned in—

before the doorbell rang, making him a jump a few inches back, away from the older, who coughed awkwardly.

"sir?", his butler bowed respectfully, "young masters kim and lee are waiting for you downstairs."

"for fuck's sake!"
