minji dragged hyunjin inside the pretty park, smiling ear to ear, completely contrasting to hyunjin's dejected and miserable expression.

she leaned close to him, standing on her tip-toes and kissing his neck softly, "jinnie, you remember the plans we made as kids? we were going to leave everyone behind and start our lives over.", the male bit back his tongue, not correcting the fact that only seungmin had the permission to call him that nickname so lovingly.

"let's run away, hyunjin.", she seriously proposed.

the raven haired male's face dropped even more, if possible. "what are you talking about, minji? we just can't—",

"you have the fucking audacity to say no to me after everything that happened? you think i was joking before when i threatened you? i will seriously let the press know about your childhood anecdotes. what will your daddy do then, huh? he hates you already."

he gulped, not knowing what to say. perhaps, jisung was right. perhaps, this was his karma for what he had done. he deserved it.

"we can run away to some place far, then we'll make love and have a baby again. oh, it will be so beautiful, jinnie.", she dreamily uttered.

hyunjin, feeling sick in his gut, looked around, confused and disoriented, "minji, why are we here?"

"minho wanted to meet us for lunch, apparently." the taller scowled, minho evidently disliked him, and yet here he was, about to have lunch with him.

"minho!", the girl screamed upon spotting her handsome twin brother and instantly ran up to him, wrapping him into a hug.

hyunjin frowned upon seeing minho look somewhat uncomfortable at the contact. he didn't look normal, he looked.. disappointed? fucking hell, hyunjin could never understand this guy. ever.

"hello, hyunjin.", he nodded at the younger's direction, who awkwardly bowed at him. minji seemed to notice her brother's weird behavior as well.

she tried to lighten the mood up, "i love this place! did you bring food from home, or did you order it?"

the two studied the male carefully as he uneasily shifted in his place, digging his hands inside his pocket and staring at his sister with an unreadable expression.

it scared hyunjin.

"actually, minji..", he drawled, looking around, his eyes knees visibly trembling. he looked very anxious. "i didn't invite you for lunch, this is more of a— uhm—"

"what?", the girl questioned, her eyebrows furrowed and the pitch of her voice rising dangerously higher, as if she's about to burst. "minho what the fuck—"

"it's a confrontation, hon.", a melodious voice, hyunjin knew really fucking well, completed minho's sentence.

he looked behind and blushed like a ten year old boy would infront of his crush. holy shit, seungmin was so beautiful — especially in a a brown collared shirt.

minji scowled, well aware of what kind of affect the boy had on her lover, she grabbed hyunjin's arms, pulling him close to her to show seungmin his place. the blonde rolled his eyes at the gesture.

"what the hell is happening?", minji questioned, infuriated, she turned to her brother who shook his head in dissappointment before stepping back a little and letting seungmin stand infront of him.

"minji, stop it. seungmin told us everything. we know that you've been lying. i knew rehab made us distant but i didn't know you would deceive your own brother like that.", minho scolded, his gaze sharp.

"HE'S LYING! HE'S JEALOUS OF ME AND HYUNJIN! HOW CAN YOU BELIEVE HIM OVER ME!? JINNIE—", she nervously looked to her side, only to find the raven haired male glaring at her and minho in confusion.

"hyunjin, you won't leave me all alone again, will you?", she asked, tears streaming down her face. hyunjin stepped a little back, but shook his head in denial. he was in no position to fight her.

"you won't be alone, jiji. you've got me.", seungmin smiled at her fakely, his voice getting shrill like minji's — the only difference being that hyunjin thought he looked hot when he was being an asshole.

seungmin winked at a bewitched hyunjin, at this point the latter was going to faint because of all that charm. he turned to minji— who's face was getting redder and redder by the minute.

"i've brought some people who really want to see you! consider this my early christmas gift! after all, you're like my best friend, right jiji?"

minji wanted to glare daggers at the pretty little peice of shit but ended up looking horrified when the blonde signalled someone from behind them to stand beside seungmin.

seungmin smiled menacingly again.

"m-mom? dad?", she whispered more to herself than anyone around her, her face paled and her body shook. this was bad.

"seungmin told us everything, minji. even minho confirmed it. we kept so quite and hidden because of the scandal that we didn't even realise how you've been acting lately. we should've kept an eye on you and minho."

"huh?", hyunjin muttered, absoultely confused but more amused at seungmin's little show. how much he was holding back to run up to the younger and kiss him infront of everyone.

"it's not true! he's a lying bastard!"

"shh minji! don't say that to him!", her mother scolded before pulling out a flyer from her purse, "seungmin was kind enough to do his research and discuss where we're sending you for therapy."

"what? i'm not troubled! that was before! i'm fine now! i just wanted my own family!", she defended, her eyes watering in realisation of what was going to happen.

"your family is right here, infront of you, minji, and we're worried, this is for you own good.", minho interfered.

the girl snatched the flyer from her mother's hand, staring at it in horror. a fucking bootcamp!?

seungmin giggled before stepping closer to her, tucking her hair behind her ear before whispering, "maybe this wouldn't have happened if you kept your nasty claws away from kim seungmin's man."

minji shivered while seungmin happily clapped his hands, giving her the fakest, bitchiest smile he had ever given to anyone. "you'll be missed, jiji!"

god, hyunjin didn't even know it was possible to fall in love with someone so deeply.
