Chapter Two
Ace had, of course, been late to his class and was walking home in a depressed mood. He used to have quite good grades, but it was only the first day of his new school, and he was already getting detention.
"Those bastards don't know who they're dealing with... I'll show those teachers, for sure..." Ace murmured, knowing that what he was saying to himself was all lies. He could never confront a teacher and starting a fight with one would be close to impossible.
"Oh, look! Here you are, talking to yourself!" Ace turned around and his turquoise eyes met Lee's black ones. "Missed me?" Lee smirked and Ace sighed. "Just leave me alone." he said and continued walking, faster.
"Nope, not gonna happen. You see, I think it's amusing to talk to you." Lee smiled at Ace and Ace rolled his eyes. Not so frightening... You gotta try a little harder, okay?
"I know what you're thinking. It's showing all over your face. I weren't trying to scare you." Lee chuckled.
Okay, now he's scary.
"What are you, a mind reader?"
"No, but you're completely transparent." Lee grinned.
"Well, sorry for having other expressions than the ones that just freaks people out, then."
"Oh, I freak you out?"
"Yeah, obviously." Ace blushed and started running, away from Lee.
Lee was catching up. Ace hadn't expected him to be so fast. He started running faster and kept running in that speed until he got home. He shut the door tightly behind himself and made sure to lock it.
"Safe..." he panted and sunk down on the floor. His mother was still at work and he was an only child, so he didn't have to worry about people asking why he was so tired or why he had been so careful with locking the door.
He went up to his room and turned on his TV. He sat down on his sofa.
He zapped between the channels, trying to find something to watch and ended up watching a program about animal cruelty, which he found really boring. His doorbell rang and as a reflex, Ace got up to open it, but realized that it probably was Lee, so he slowly walked downstairs and looked through the peephole. He had been right, it was Lee. Ace decided not to open. He started walking back to his room, but then Lee rang the doorbell again. And again. And again... Yeah, you've probably figured it out already. Let's just say he kept ringing the doorbell.
After around five minutes Ace gave up and opened the door.
"If you don't stop, I'll call the police." he snapped.
"Well, now I don't have to, since you opened the door." Lee smirked and walked inside.
"Hey, don't just walk into peoples houses like that!" Ace yelled. "What are you going to do about it?"
"I... Okay, you win, what do you want from me?" Ace said with a tired voice.
"Nothing, I'm just bored out." Lee said and looked around.
"Nice place you've got here." he added.
"Thank you." Ace replied. He had figured out that there was no point in kicking Lee out, since he would only find another way to make Ace let him inside again.
"Okay then, we can watch a movie or something, since I don't have anything else to do anyways. Lee nodded.
"Yeah, that's fine with me, since the reason why I'm here is that I'm bored out."
