I actually made this ages ago but forgot to publish it 😅

17 hour phone calls, looking into each other's eyes through FaceTime, flirting behind a screen, playing games, texting about nothing and everything. This was our we spent our days, showed our love. Even though we were far away, we still did so much together. 

Her birthday was coming up and I wanted to surprise her. 1038 miles I would have to drive, and I would do it 6 times over for her. I had packed already, I was going to arrive two days before her birthday. So I have to be in a motel for two days, but that doesn't matter. Finally I'll have her in my arms, finally I'll be able to see her in front of me, finally I'll be able to touch her, finally.

I got into the car and started driving to the love of my life. I got there at 5am, I had been driving all day and night, and I couldn't wait to get to the motel. When I got there I booked in got the keys, locked my car and fell asleep straight away on the bed.

Two days passed with calls to her, it was hard not spilling that I'm here but I somehow did it. It was finally time! I knew her address because she had told me before in one of our many conversations, we had joked a lot how we would finally meet up but we had never actually thought about it that much. I parked across the street and breathed, I called her.

"Hello!" She said happily.

"Hey! Happy birthday!" I smiled, happy to hear her voice again.

"Thanks!"

"Has my present arrived yet?"

"Ummmm, not yet. I'll check my door"

"Oh ok! Call me back once you've gotten it"

"Ok!"

I breathed in and out then hopped out of my car going to her door, I heard her running down the stairs. I heard the click of the lock, I saw the door move in ward, I saw her see me, I saw her eyes lighten up and her jaw drop, and then I felt her in my arms hugging me.

"WHAT THE HECK" she cried in joy.

"Hey babe" I felt myself tearing up.

She let go of me and looked at me in the eyes, "oh my god, you're actually here. OH MY GOD YOU'RE ACTUALLY HERE" she hugged me again.

"Yes, yes I am" I pulled away and looked at her, I couldn't believe it. I held her face in my hands and kissed her. She smiled into the kiss and then we pulled away, I smiled back at her.

"Oh! Come in, come in!" She held out her hand for me to take, which I did, and we went into her house.

I can't wait for this week
