Nice to meet you, soulmate

"I knew you'd kick ass, baby girl." Chan came over to Ko as she stepped out of her car, taking the key out of the ignition and locking it behind her. He handed her a band of cash, smacking the other band into Hyunjin's outstretched hand when he got to both of them.

"Nice job, as always," Hyunjin put an arm around her shoulder as he waved his band at her. "It was a close one, I gotta admit I was scared there for a second."

"Yeah, me too." Ko walked over to Minho, who came out of his car and opened his arms. "You almost had me there, you roach!" He laughed as Ko hugged him, thanking him as he congratulated her.

"Whatever, you're buying me lunch this weekend, big winner!" He winked and went to talk to Chan. She shook her head with a laugh, Of course Minho would demand that after a loss. Ko sighed, turning as the new guy parked his car.

"Hey," she caught his attention, walking over. When she got close enough, she planted both feet in front of his and shot out a hand without thinking. Ko always did this after a race, she was practically known for her sportsmanship. The unnamed man reached out a gloved hand to shake hers, but the minute the two connected, Ko felt a sudden shock go through her. They both gasped, as he pulled off his glove, and she looked down only to see her once blackened palm now shimmering a bright yellow.

Ko stared down at it, only to look up when she heard a chuckle. Hyunjin and Chan came over, curious about what was happening between those two. Under his glove, she saw lilac dancing where, she assumed, was once a similarly blackened palm.

Then, their eyes met. He gave Ko a bright smile, one she couldn't help but mirror. His eyes sparkled in the night as he let out a soft exhale.

"I'm Felix," his eyes didn't leave hers as he spoke. "Nice to meet you, soulmate."
