You should've been there
Should've burst through the door
With that 'baby, I'm right here' smileAnd it would've felt
like a million shinning little stars Had just alignedAnd I would've been so happy
—— the moment I knew by Taylor Swift
Never has Rose felt better in her life. Finally everything was going right. After twenty-three years of a shit life she has everything she's ever wanted. Her boyfriend was beyond. Rose was so deeply in love with him.
She always thought she was the one for him. She's dream of things that could happen with both of them. When Ross took her virginity he was so kind about it. Next morning he put roses in a bathtub and candles on the counter.
The sex was amazing. Three years together really showed commitment. Or she thought.
Ross hadn't come home yet as she lights the birthday cupcake to herself. She sings lowly. Once the cupcake was half way finished he came in. Ross was in his business suit.
"Sorry love, my meeting ran late." Ross sighs kissing Rose on the lips.
"It's okay babe, I just wish that you would have spent the morning with me." Rose answers.
There was a knock on the door. Her best friend, Jem came storming in jumping up and down. "Hey bitches!" She squeals and hugs Rose.
"Hey Jem." Rose smiles as Jem dances her way to the kitchen.
"So I'm make you a getting old cake." Jem laughs.
"Sounds like a plan." Rose states as she grabs the trash.
"Give me ten minutes to take out the trash and I will be back." Rose pecks Ross's lips walking out the apartment.
Jem and Rose had been friends since 2nd grade. Rose had trusted Jem with her life and trusted her with her boyfriend.
Once she opened the door she had heard loud moaning. She thought it was the neighbors next door because usually there bed banged on the wall. Rose saw with her own eyes Jem on the kitchen counter legs up with Ross ramming into her as Jem screamed.
"Fuck me Ross!" She yelled as Ross kissed her lips.
Rose felt the need to kill them both, but all she wanted now was nothing to do with either of them. The pinch in her heart was telling her to cuss them both out. Why? That's the first question that popped into her head as she watched Ross continue to fuck Jem's brains out.
I thought Ross only did that to me? He'd be rough with me, but go slow. I never liked that, but this Ross was not who she knew.
"What. the. fuck?" She simply asks as Jem looked at her pulling her skirt down.
Tears had fell from her eyes now. "Rose we can explain." Jem gasps as Rose throws a glass vase Ross has gotten her for Valentine's Day.
"Get the fuck out!" She yells pushing the door open. Jem and Ross had been still looking at the ground where the vase was broken.
"Just get the fuck out." She cries watching as Ross slowly walked up to her.
His eyes looked sorry, but she knew his heart didn't feel that way. "Don't text me or come here ever again. I don't want to see you." She truthfully states.
Ross only listened. The silence in the apartment was odd. She sank down to the ground with a racing heart. Her mom, Cassandra always said to call her if something bad ever happened.
So she did. Rose called her mom.
