Monday.
It was Monday.
But it wasn't just any special Monday for Tsukishima, nono.
Today was the day that Tsukishima was going to confess to (Name).
Throughout the whole day he was unnerved, everytime he saw her sent a jolt up his spine. It didn't help that they were in the same class either. Seeing just a part of her would send his mind on overdrive and set a wildfire in his body. Heck, even hearing her (Name) would get him all flustered. He couldn't help it, he was going to undergo a life changing event after school that could make or break his day. His week. His year. His whole high school life and maybe even beyond it too. During his weekend, he carefully planned out what he should say without sounding cheesy and cringe worthy. He wanted to increase his chances as much as possible. He also didn't want to accidentally say something that would hurt her, he knew that it was a habit that he had. It was harder than he thought, who wouldn't be all sappy when they declare their love to another person?
All this for a girl.
But a girl who was worth it.
After a long process, Tsukishima decided that he would ask her out after school by the park. It was secluded and quiet, he didn't have to worry about anyone running in on them. Additionally, the park held several special moments he shared with (Name), it just felt right to do it there. With all the thoughts swarming his head, he didn't take note that (Name) was aware of him unintentionally ignoring her.
All morning, (Name) tried to make small talk with the blond during but he didn't crack a single word. It was a stark contrast from his usual mocking self, he was withdrawn for once. Taking a risk, she decided to seek help by asking Yamaguchi but he wasn't of any help. In truth, Yamaguchi knew what his friend was going through and he was going to support him to the end. (Name) sighed, she was desperate on trying to find out what made him so...distant. It was currently break time and (Name) was sitting at her desk, biting her nail in full concentration as she thought of reasons that could trigger his sad boi hours. It's probably not family issues or anything major, Yamaguchi noted earlier that it wasn't anything like that. (Name) thought that they had a good moment that Saturday, and they didn't talk on Sunday either. She was certain that it wasn't something that she did that set him off. Maybe.
A few minutes ago, (Name) offered to go buy him a drink, but that planned ended up with another big fat failure. She went back to her desk, dejected by his refusal. Perhaps she should leave him alone until he was ready to open up, be there for him when he needed it. Just like how he was for her.

"And like...I don't know if it's something I did. I'm hella worried."
"Don't be such a worrywart, you're overthinking everything like always. He doesn't hate you, trust."
"Yeah, he wouldn't just suddenly cut ties with you. Even if he did, we'll chop his balls off and punt his dumbass to outer space."
"Periodt. Now stop talking about Tsukishima and eat your damn food. Lunch is gonna end soon and you haven't ate shit."
(Name) held back a laugh, she was spilling her thoughts to her friends in attempt to cheer up, and it really helped. Instantly, Emiko, Aika, and Hana went into their mature mode and consoled their hopeless friend. Their encouraging words were enough to get her mind off of him for now. Other than (Name), the girl knew why Tsukishima was acting that way. Aika filled them in on her exchange with Tsukishima and needless to say, Emiko and Hana went apeshit over the news. There was nothing but jumbled talking and lots of squealing that occurred.
