Ok, so I actually got a request (I think this is the 2nd one?) and I'ma do it, cause it's AWESOME-
Let's do a run down of what's already happened.
Marinette Daring Calva (Idk. came up with it on the spot.) was born in Gotham. Marinette was know by all in Gotham as 'Kind, Happy, and Perfect' a literal sunshine. The sunshine of Gotham.
However, when her mother died, Marinette was adopted by a 'sweet' couple in Pairs. Sabine and Tom Dupain-Cheng. Convinced that her name would be a painful memory of the past, Sabine and Tom legally changed her name to Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Everything was good for a time, and Marinette thrived with her friends, and became Ladybug, fighting the supervillain Hawkmoth.
Until a liar by the name of Lila came to town. (Ya'll should know this part by now) and stole her friends. Turned them all against her, well, all but Chloe and Alix. But even they couldn't help protect her from a liar and her sheep. Chloe and Alix went on a foreign exchange student thing-y and left Marinette by herself, in a town full of people and (most everyone) hated her.
The Liar and her sheep physically and mental tortured the girl. Marinette was forced to create a different persona so she could be a fashion designer. MDC (Marinette D. Calva) and Marinette also became the singing sensation Calva. Now, being a self-sustained billionaire does have it's perks. Marinette left the horrid situation in Pairs, and returned to the place she knew best, the city of her heart, Gotham.
If it was possible, Marinette became even more perfect than she was, and you couldn't ever catch her without a smile on her face. Marinette legally changed her name back, and went home, BY HERSELF. Marinette ha become the Guardian during her- rather short stay in Paris. Marinette used her powers as the Guardian of the Miraculous to see people's auras, and help them become a better version of themselves. Not only had Marinette changed for the better (on the outside) she was helping others change for the better.
Which brings us to where we are now. In front of Wayne Manor.
Marinette walked inside the Manor at Alfreds ushering. The batboys were practically tripping over each other to guide her to her seat (They were supposed to eat dinner with her) During the meal they asked questions about her, and Marinette always answered in a positive light. Finally, Damian had had ENOUGH. He could not, no. He would not listen to this girl be so positive. Damian stood up looking her directly into the eyes and said,
"Listen Calva. You're to naïve, you'd better toughen up if you want to survive." Marinette tilted her head slightly to the left, a wild, slightly (ok MORE than a little) demented smile twisting onto her face. "I've seen so much worse in Paris alone than you've seen in your whole life." Marinette said, her voice dangerously low, and VERY scary.
That stunned Damian. What could this girl have possibly gone through in Paris that would make her ACT happy 100% of the time? Why- just- how-
LATER IN THE BATCAVE- WHLIE RESARCHING MARINETTE
Tim was muttering as he read her 'files' suddenly he gasped and fell backwards. "Holy shit!" Damian was over in a flash, reading over his shoulder Dick said "Dangerous terriost Hawkmoth prays on negative emotions and magically creates monsters? and the Ladybug hero restores everything? But what about trauma? Wait. . .no, it don't take away trauma. Just the physical stuff"
A little latter
"And she filed bullying and defamation reports, and sexual assault, and attempted murder, but the PCPD dismissed it?" Let's just say they were all S T U N N E D
