This is a Daminette betrothal story! Marinette grew up with Damian until the attack, then went to Paris. This is the tale of their reunion. They were betrothed at age 4.
Mari's Pov:
I was walking in the park with Alya, listening to her ramble about Ladybug. When someone shouted,
"LOOK OUT!!" Alya turned, confused, a frisbee heading high speeds was about to smack into me. Her eyes widened. Before she could shout warning to Marinette, the girl had ducked at a almost inhuman speed, with extreme flexibly. Then wiped around to catch it before it could hit anyone. Alya just stood there wide-eyed. She was stunned. Marinette had never done anything like this before!!
"I'm so sorry miss." a boy a few years older said, rushing up to her. She just smiled. "Here you go! I think this is yours!" she said, handing him the frisbee. He grinned as he took it.
"I'm Richard by the way." Marinettes eyes widened. "Richard or 'Dick' Grayson-Wayne?!" the man -now dubbed Dick- looked shocked. "Uh. . . . yeah? How'd you know that?" Hw was confused, because the Media hadn't found out what his nickname was. She grinned.
"Your brother told me. I'm Marinette." Dick looked confused, but before he could ask which brother, Damian came over to check what was taking him so long.
"Grayson, what is taking you so long?" he asked, sounding annoyed, then he caught sight of Marinette and froze. Marinnette grinned, and leapt onto him, much to the surprise of Dick and Alya.
"Habibti!!" she whisper-yelled. He still looked shocked, and could only muster a whisper. "Malak??" She nodded. Damian pulled her into a hug.
"I missed you." He whispered, Marinette smiled. "I know. I missed you too." then she kissed him.
"How-" Alya couldn't even finish her sentence.
"My Malak and I have been dating for a while. We meet many years ago."
"What??" Dick tried, only to be cut off.
"It's a long story." They said, in unison
