We all sat there at Venedox Steakhouse, Which at the time was an expensive, highly rated steak house; it took months just to get a table, Hell It took weeks just to get on their reservations list, then you had to wait months to get a table, But lucky for me I booked four months in advance. "Carlos !" a voice cut thru my train of thought. "What, Mal? "I said, looking at her as she smirks. "The food here, and I asked why did you take us here is something going on, Carlos? "She says, questioning my motives for bringing them here. I looked down at my Japanese Kobe steak and potatoes, and all I could think about was how this was going to make my pockets hurt. "Los, are you going to stare at it or eat it and answer Mal's question cause now I'm wondering" Evie snaps at me. To be honest, I brought them here to tell them that I won't be attending the same college as them; ever since we were little kids, we always planned on going to the same college and living together, But In high school, I started my music career, and It was developing. I was being booked at clubs, private parties, and events, plus I was shipping fans merch and goods all over the world. They were planning to go to a math, science, and technology Institution; I didn't want to get into a math, science, or technology field, just music. So I applied for one of the most prominent colleges in the world just because they had a perfect music program. You could tour plus the college would pay for it, But the school is located in Auradon. Tonight I would tell them; Upside that would put some distance between my mother and me; she was a wealthy fashion designer and a child abuser.Evie P.O.V. ~"Carlos !" I yell, and he jumps. "W-what? Oh um, so i-" He stammers nervously. I looked at him and side-eyed him, "S-so um, I might not have applied to M.S.T. Institution, "The white and black-haired boy says but is cut off. "You mean the school we all planned to go to ever since we were little, Mr. De Vil!?" I yell, and people look at me. I look at them and give them an apologetic smile. "Y-yes," De vil says as he takes a bit of this steak. "Carlos, we planned this all our life!" I say, and Carlos looks at me, saddened by my response. "Evie! Stop!" Carlos yells, but it slowly turns to a whisper. "I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to scream, but still, please just let me talk. "He flashes his puppy dog eyes at us. If we're telling the truth, he was the baby of our group and has always been the voice of reason, and has always been there for us more than we've been there for him. "I'm sorry, but I'm looking out for my passion and aspirations; if you hate me, then so be it," Carlos hisses at me. "Carlos, I'm sorry, we love you; we're happy for you!" I say as I hug him.Carlos P.O.VThat was easier than I thought. "Ha, you're moving to Auradon; One down three to go, "Jay says. He is like the bad boy out of our friend group. "Just be happy for him and not make him feel as if we want him to go so bad, "Mal says coldly to Jay ( Mal is like a mother when it comes to Carlos ). "Mal, who pissed in your cereal? "Jay said snarkily, but playfully. "No-one, that joke was funny but not the right time. Plus, he's your boyfriend; at least have some passion while he's leaving," Mal says; Carlos blushed a deep red before burying his face into his food. Yes, Jay and I are dating. We were together for about 3 years, but the trust behind us is low ever since I caught him hooking up with Gil, the star quarterback of our high school last year, in the locker room. And It didn't help that Dominic, aka mals half brother mother, is maleficent, and his father, King Stefan, confesses his feelings to him a day later. However, I said no due to me still liking jay. "Babe? "I look up to see Jay calling my name. "Yes?" I say, staring at him. "The bill" Jay throws the bill to me as he walks out the door. "Jay?! "I called, but he just ignores me and walks off. Dominic's P.O.V~A stream of red and black magic ways moves to Jay's pocket, grabbing his credit card. Seconds later, a black-haired boy appears. "Here you go, Carlos," Dominic smirks. "You can't just use magic to steal from people, not while where in this place! Do you know Just because the barrier around the island is down doesn't mean that they're not arresting us" Mal spats Angrily half-witted brother. "How I'm I being yelled out when Jay just left Carlos to pay the bill! "I yelled, and my eyes flashed red in angry as I stare at Mal who eyes go green. "How about instead of having a full-on magic fight across the table, we pay the bill and leave before the waiter over there with the phone calls that magic police," Evie says as Carlos's hands his card to the waiter. "Sorry, but Jay leaving you Carlos-i mean you guys was wrong, "I said calmly. "It's fine, Dom," Carlos says in a sweet voice until a sour face appears on him, and I look up to see an angry and outsmarted jay was walking up to me. "You blood-sucking wizard, give me my card back now! "Jay yells, standing over me as I sat in the chair. I got up and towered over him. "Here," I say as I wave my hand and red sparkles start to pick up his card and drop it into my hand; I hand it to him. "Happy?" As I stare down at him, "Carlos, get in the car, and let's go home!" Jay commends. I went to open my mouth, but Carlos grabs my hand and walks away with jay; I sit back down as Evie and I wait for Mal to get out of the restroom. EvieEvies P.O.V~I look at Dominic as he watches Jay and Carlos argue outside. I Want to break the awkward silence, but his focus is on Carland. I knew Dom ( AKA Dominic) liked Carlos a lot since Carlos taught Dom how he should welcome his power and not fear it like he once did as a kid. "So Dom-" I say but is cut off. "Dominic, you mean, "He corrects me. I forgot how the only person who is allowed to call him Dom is Carlos. "I mean Dom-inic...I heard you Carlos got into that school..T-that's nice," I say as he stares deep into my soul. It felt like he was burning holes into my head. The only person he didn't do this to was Maland Carlos because Mal would do it back and Carlos well he liked Carlos- "Mhm.." He trails off. I never really liked him, but Mal told us to play nice with him, and Carlos played a little too lovely because now Dom was wrapped around Carlos's paw.
