Chapter 3

Today marks Kiyoshi's first day at UA High. His alarm scared him so hard he fell out of bed, landing on his face. Groaning, he rubbed his nose and went to shower before school. The 7'4 boy, his quirk also affects his height, got out the shower and dressed in his uniform. He grabbed his bag from his chair, in his room, before going down for breakfast.

{TIME SKIP BECAUSE I'M LAZY}

Despite driving to school, both Aizawa's were late. Kiyoshi carried his sleeping father to the class before entering.

"If you're here to make friends, leave now." The tired older male said. He got out of the sleeping bag and pulled out the UA Physical Exercise kits and tiredly said, "Sorry to throw this on you but I need you to put these on and meet me on the training grounds." before leaving. Everyone did as told and left to head to the changing rooms.

The boys and girls splitted, going to the correct changing rooms. Kiyoshi was already in the changing room and stayed away from everyone else. He started changing and noticed a familiar redhead. The said redhead approached Kiyoshi and his eyes widened with worry. The usually bouncy shark-toothed boy fell quiet and looked up to the black haired giant. "Erm....You're staring and.... It's kinda creepy." Kiyoshi said politely before finishing changing.

Hearing this knocked the redhead out of thoughts and he began apologizing before walking off. Once each student finished changing, they left the room and walked to where they were told to meet. "What about the ceremony?!" The round-faced, brown-ette asked.

"If you want to become heroes, we don't have to for these frothy hindrances. You all do understand the school's reputation for freedom on campus, right? Well that 'Freedom' applies for the staff as well." The teacher started boredly. He then went on to explain how we will be doing 5 tests and what will happen in each. "Bakugou? How far could you pitch a soft ball during middle school?" He questioned the angry pinecone.

"67 meters. Why?" he retorted.

"Try using your quirk this time, so long as you don't leave the circle." The ball was tossed to the ash-blonde. "No holding back."

A bone chilling smirk played the boy's features. "You got it!" He yelled before stepping into the circle. Activating his quirk, he threw the ball and barked "DIE!"

"Before anything else, one must know what they are able to do." Aizawa displayed the digits on the device in his hand. 705.2m flashed. "This is a rational way to determine your 'Hero foundation.'"

"That looks fun!" someone yelled causing Kiyoshi to sweatdrop, knowing what Aizawa is now planning.

"705.2m?! Unreal!" another yelled.

"We are allowed to use our quirks? That is the heroic department for you!" someone ecstatically exclaimed.

"Looks fun, you say?" A smirk tugs at the sensei's lips, "So you planned on spending 3 years here having fun? What happened to becoming heroes?" The smirk left his lips, replaced with an austere look. "In that case, new rule. The student who ranks last will be determined 'hopeless' and instantaneously expelled." Everyone, beside Kiyoshi who kept an unamused look, panicked. "Welcome to the heroics department." The smirk returning.

"This is our first day here! That's just too unreasonable." The brownette, Ochaco Uraraka, tried reasoning.

"There are many types of calamities that can strike when least expected. Japan is now soaked in 'unreasonable' and it is our job, as herpes, to reverse it all and restore reason. If you expected it to be a stroll in the park, too bad. From now on you can expect UA life to be full of hardship. I expect you to overcome these trails and climb to the top. Now the demonstration is done, time to start."

Trial 1: 50 meter dash

Due to the odd number, I got to run on my own. Out of habit, I rolled up my sleeves. I got ready but I felt everyone's eyes stare at me. Everyone including Bakugou. Aizawa noticed and motioned to his sleeves. The scarred boy pulled his sleeves down and began sprinting.

"4.73 seconds" the machine said.

Trial 2: Grip strength

Kiyoshi activated his quirk and covered the ball in a crimson colour, a smirk playing his lips as he let it float around. He closed his hand and completely crushed the mechanism. He stopped his quirk and iched the nape of his neck, making eye contact with Aizawa. The older Aizawa just chuckled and gave him 1st place.

Trial 3: The standing long jump

The scarlet boy activated his quirk and flew over and past anyone else. 'I know dad's lying about the expulsion. Doesn't mean I won't try.'

Trial 4: Sustained sideways jumps

The tired boy lasted at least 10 minutes before collapsing.

Trail 5: The pitch

Everyone managed to get pretty high scores. Uraraka managed to score infinity. The greened head managed to score 705.3m, which completely set off Bakugou. Before the ash-blonde could do any damage Kiyoshi threw him backwards which caused him to land on his ass.

"Kiyoshi. Your turn." Aizawa said to his tired boy. Said male got into the circle and sent the ball flying, scoring 7056.58m.

After the trials/tests a smirk was on the black haired male's lips. This caused many to look at him questioningly. "The whole expulsion was a lie."
