Y/N's point of view

The sun felt amazing on my skin. Country music filled my ears as I laid on my deck beside the pool. I could hear the distant splashes of my dog, Remy, swimming around. He's a 4 year old German Shepherd. My sun bathing was soon interrupted by Remy jumping out of the pool, and shaking wildly right next to me. The water slung all over me, but I guess he decided that I wasn't wet enough. He then plopped down right on top of me, and began licking my face. I giggled and stood up, drying myself off with a towel and heading inside to get Remy something to eat. He followed happily right behind me. Of course, getting water all over the floor. I opened the cabinet and searched around for his cans of food, but I didn't see any. I could've sworn there was at least one left. I guess not. "I'll run to the store really quick and get you some food, buddy." I made sure Remy was secured in his kennel, with his favorite toys and some water. My local grocery store has pet supplies along with regular groceries, so I'll be able to get a few things for myself as well. I locked the doors to my house and headed to the garage.

I immediately made my way to the pet section, to make sure they had the canned food that Remy likes. I put the food into my cart, along with a new squeaky toy. I then picked out a few things I needed, and headed to the check out. They only had two cashier lines open, so the lines were pretty long. I scrolled through my phone to pass the time. Suddenly, there was a lot of commotion at the front of the store.
Three tall men announced that they were paying for everyone's groceries. I finally made it to the front of the line, and one of the men handed the cashier the money for my stuff. "Oh my gosh, thank you. I really appreciate it." The tallest man smiled, and told me it was no big deal.

I put all my grocery bags into the cart and headed out to my car. I saw the men standing around a car talking, along with two other men holding cameras. I decided to walk up and thank them again, it was a big help to me. "I wanted to thank you guys again. Paying for everyone's groceries is such a big and kind gesture." They again told me it wasn't a big deal, and that they're glad they could help people who needed it. "Was it for a YouTube video?" I asked, motioning to the men holding cameras. "Yes! I make videos on YouTube, most of the time doing stupid stuff with my money." One of them said. I nodded, "That's really cool. What's your channel name?" I pulled out my phone and hit subscribe after he told me. He had almost 50 million subscribers, that's crazy. "Most YouTuber's who have as many fans as you are pretty full of themselves." That made him laugh, "I'm just a normal guy. I like making videos and people sometimes enjoy them." The rest of the men agreed with him. They introduced themselves as Chris, Chandler, and Jimmy.

I talked with them for a little bit longer, and told them I have to get home to my dog. "Quick question! We're actually doing another video in a few days, would you want to be part of it?" Jimmy turned to me. "Well, that depends on what type of video it is. A bunch of strange men asking me to be in a random video could turn into a bad situation." They broke out laughing with me. "It's going to be a "last to leave the pool wins $10,000" video." Jimmy explained. My jaw dropped. "$10,000!?" Holy shit! That could easily put me through college. "To have a chance to win that much money is amazing. Thank you, I'd love to be in the video."
"Just a warning, you could be in there for days. I've had people stay in my challenges for almost a week." That didn't surprise me, people would do a lot for that much money.

I gave Jimmy my number so that he could contact me about the video, and got in my car to head home. The second I walked through the door, Remy was howling with excitement to hear me come in. I let him out of his kennel, and he jumped up on me. "I got your food, baby! Come on, come over here I have your food!" He eagerly followed me, and pepped up at the sound of the can of food opening. I plopped it down into his bowl and he began eating.

I decided to call my mom and ask her if she could watch Remy while I did this video with Jimmy and the boys. She was already excited, she loves watching Remy. But not as much as he loves seeing her. He's had huge separation anxiety from her ever since I moved out 2 years ago. I make sure he gets to see her as often as possible. "I already have food here for him, baby. How long can he stay?" We agreed on a week, even thought I doubt I'd be able to stay in that challenge for more than a day. I just wanted her to be able to spend time with her baby.
