Draco and i were cuddling in the Slytherin common room on the couch. He was reading a book and i had asked him to read it aloud to me. He was in the middle of a sentence when a loud boom of thunder interrupted him. I jumped and nuzzled my head into his chest. Scared it would happen again.

I had always been afraid of thunder ever since i was a kid, whenever there was a storm i would hide under my bed and wait for it to be over.

"Are you alright darling?" He asked with a look of slight concern.

I nodded my head and he kissed the top of my head as he continued reading.

Another louder roar of thunder came along, and once again I jumped and nuzzled my head farther into his chest.

"My love? Are you afraid of thunder?" He asked more concerned then the last time he had asked.

"I'm not afraid of thunder, that's silly-" i got cut off by another loud boom. Once again i cuddled my head into his chest, this time he cradled me into his chest like a newborn baby.

"It's okay, shh" he cooed in my ear.

"Okay, maybe i am a little afraid of thunder" i laughed i I snuggled Draco listening to his heart beat as he continued reading.

"I love you darling" he whispered.

"I love you too Draco" I whispered back placing a kiss on his lips.
