Phir Le Aaya Dil

Chapter 12

Zoya screamed in her deep slumber, everyone ran to have a look at her well-being in the room; Asad too jerked off with sudden scream and found her, sitting on the bed, with sweating face and tearful eyes. She was gasping too badly when Asad came a little closer to her and looked into her eyes, while patting her cheek.

He asked, "Kya hua? Areyou okay?", and looked with questions in her eyes. Till then Dilshaad, Najmaand Humeira have also reached the room and witnessed the scared Zoya has wrapped her arms in an embrace with Asad, "Please save me. Don't- don't go any-anywhere", stuttered Zoya at which Asad caressed her head a little and consoled her, "Everything is fine, see Humeira and Ammi are here"

She looked at their side and parted herself away from Asad realizing at their state again asked her,"Zoya hua kya hai?"

"Kuch-kuch nahi", she lied white.

Dilshaad asked this time being oblivious, "To fir dar kaise gayi bacche" to which Najma continued, "Yes.Was it a nightmare?"

Zoya got her answer to cover-up in Najma's question and she go-ahead with it, "Ya! Haan haan bura sapna tha – aur abbu ko gaye hue bhi zyada din nahi hue to main-main dar gayithi", and bit her lower lip and thought, "I hope sab ise sach hi samjhein"

Humeira came nearer toher sister and hugged her, "please apna khayal rakho na aapi", at which Zoya nodded affirmatively.

"Aap log jaaiye I amwith her", Asad make everyone understand at which Dilshad kissed her daughter-in-law cum daughter's forehead, "Take care my child"

"Ammi sahi keh rahi hain bhai, please take her care", Najma too concerned and with this she amazed everyone happily and with the three ladies left and Dilshad hugged her daughter, "Proud of you"

Asad was waiting for everyone to leave and looked at her, "So, impressive", and with this he shut the door and locked it.

"What the hell are you doing?", she questioned at the same time and while turning he retorted back,"May I ask you the same?"

"What do you mean?", she asked being oblivious.

He grinned, "don't tryto be so innocent wifey, you can lie to anyone but not me, bhulo mat mujhse jyada tumhe koi nahi janta"

She kept shut her mouth and he held her from the elbows and pinned to the wall, with which the quilt fell on the floor which reminded her of the day 1 of her in the Haider's house,"K-kya", she stuttered.

"Yeh! Ke jhooth kyu bola sab se?", he questioned and laughedfake, "Bura sapna haan, jo shayad kabhi sach tha", and showing the piece of paper left in her hand with the help of Gaffur but was missed from a day. He crumbled it and hit his fist on the wall near her head and left her.

She swallowed the gulp of insult and hurt formed on the same time and clenched his jaw while screaming a little, "So what do you want?"

"Bol du ke mera husband sorry, ex-husband mujhe kabhi...", she took a little break and continued herself, "kabhi janwaro ki tarah maarta tha,raat din kamre mein locked rakhta tha ya phir ye kahoon ke badla le raha tha wo us gunah ka jo maine kabhi kiya hi nahi"

Asad who was facing his back to her was quiet known to the fact after Gaffur's demise, Haider used to hit Zoya which left his stunned but when she accepted her story of life remained him rooted and with tearful eye she turned his face to face her, but he didn't had audacity to question her butshe kept continuing.

"What happen Mr. Asad Ahmed khan, you know me the most na,to batao kyu shadi ki usne mujhse, kyu mujhe gunehgaar manta tha ya chahta kya tha mujhse bolo", she shrugged him from his collar, when tears were rolling down her cheeks.
