"Spence, i'm headed home do you want me to drop you off on the way?" JJ asks
"No im not leaving until I know she's okay" Spencer says
"Spence we don't know how long this surgery is gonna be, we've already been here for 7 hours, i think you should get some rest" JJ places her hand on Spencer's shoulder
"JJ stop" he pushes her hand off his shoulder, "I'm not leaving" Spencer looks at JJ. She pauses in shock.
"What's going on between you two?" she questions
"What do you mean?" Spencer questions back
"Don't think i haven't noticed how close you two have been lately" she raises and eyebrow at Spence
He smiles to himself just thinking about you. "Yeah, i don't even really know myself"
"Well how do you feel about her?"
"To be honest, i've liked her ever since she came to the BAU, but the more we hangout the more i feel"
"How long have you guys been seeing each other?"
"4 months and 2 days"
"Wow, you guys did terrible at hiding it from the team but i didn't know it was for that long."
"Yeah" he chuckles to himself, "I don't know JJ, i've never felt this way about anyone" he blushes
"I don't know what's going on but what i do know is that i've never seen you so happy" She lays her head on his shoulder
"Its all because of her" he smiles to himself "and if anything bad happens to her, i will never forgive myself"
"She will be fine, she's a fighter"
They both lay there for a second until Spencer sees the doctor walk through the doors. He jumps up and makes his way towards her.
"How is she, is she alright"
"She made it!" she cheers, Spencer sighs of relief, "Shes very lucky to be alive, she lost 47% of her blood, if you wouldn't have saved her when you did, she would be dead right now. Do you wanna see her?"
"Yes please" he smiles and follows the doctor to your room. His face immediately lights up when he sees you.
"Hey baby" he runs up to the side of you gripping you hand.
"Spence, your here" you smile at him
"I'm here and i'm never leaving you again" he kisses you hand before you pull him in hugging him tightly
"Did you catch him?" you question not fully remembering
"Yeah we did, his name is Phil Young, he was partners with Kyle Swanson and Rich Pillman"
"Wait doesn't Kyle work at the police department?"
"Yeah" he rolls his eyes chuckling. You both pause for a moment staring at each other.
"I thought something bad happened to you Y/n" tears began to for in his eyes
"You can't get rid of me that easily" you laugh. He laughs with you before leaning in to kiss you gently. You cup his cheek giving into the kiss.
"I love you" he chokes out. You both say there with your foreheads pressed together. You could've started crying just from those 3 words.
"I love you too Spence" you both smile to each other before reconnecting your lips together.
