Misadventures of Young Justice

“OLLLIE!” Screamed Artemis, her hood pulled over her hair.

“Yes?” Green Arrow asked, sitting on his couch; fixing his arrows.

“They’re trying to prank me!” She shrieked.

“I know.”

“Do you know what they did to me!?” Artemis hissed, pulling down her hood.

Ollie busted out laughing at Artemis’ hair.

“SHUT UP!- Wait, you said that you knew?” She asked, stuff her hair back into the base-ball cap and pulled the hood over it.

“Yeah.”

“Please tell me they’re not here.”

“Too late.” Ollie grinned.

“I HATE YOU!” Artemis screamed, running away, the boys-Kid Flash and Robin- chasing her.

Bolting, she ran to the Zeta-tubes and beamed her way into the cave.

“SUPERBOY!” She shrieked.

“Yes?”

“Hide me!”

So he did, he hid her behind his back.

“Where is she!?” Demanded Robin.

“Who?” Asked Superboy, feigning innocence.

“Artemis!” Laughed Wally.

“No, I didn’t hear her name get called.”

“Hi Artemis, hi Superboy!” Smiled M’gann, walking by.

“ARTEMIS!” The boys scream, rushing towards Superboy who grabbed them and threw them over his shoulder.

“Why are you chasing Artemis?” He asked.

“Pranking her.” Snickered Robin.

“What have you guys been drinking?”

“Nothing!”

“Wait, what is pranking?”

“GASP!” Gasped Wally.

“You’ve never been pranking before?” Questioned Robin.

“No?”

“Our target is Artemis.”

“What did you do to her?”

“Messed with her hair.”

“I’m not going to ask.”

“Let’s go!” Wally said, jumping from Superboy’s back, Robin following suit.

“Artemis, oh Artemis!” Called Wally.

Little did he know that she was in the air vents.

Carefully, she followed them until the split up. Sneaking up on Wally, she decked him then kicked him in the face and knocked him out.

“OH ARTEMIS!” Screamed Robin, running around the corner.

Her eyes grew wide and she started to bolt down the corridor, Robin chasing after her.

Luckily for her, she  ran into Batman.

“What has Robin and Kid Flash done now?” Batman sighed.

Artemis pulled off her hood, showing purple hair. “They switched my conditioner with hair dye!” She moaned.

Batman nodded and Walked toward where the two boys where hiding behind Superboy. “Are you apart of their pranks?”  Superboy shook his head, “Then leave.” And so he did.

“Every Saturday for a month, you will be cleaning out the cave.” Oh and next time, dye her hair red and write ‘I love Red Arrow’ on her forehead.” Batman instructed. The boys laughed and nodded while Artemis stormed by.

“Nice hair.” Smiled Miss Martian, watching the now-purple-headed archer leave.
