I could tell he was so mad with Cale being here, I wanted to solve this problem.
What the hell is wrong with me?
"Your relationship with him."
Ryder's face just fell, he's green eyes widened and he looked like he was guilty for a crime, and he was talking to the police.
"Uh, I have no relation with him.."
"I mean what's up with you not liking him? Cmon' my boyfriend and friend should get along."
"A person doesn't need a reason to dislike a person." He scoffed.
"I'm freakin' serious Ryder."
"I just don't like him okay? Leave me alone now."
"Leave you alone?"
"I mean, let's not talk about this touchy subject."
"Why no--"
"Hey guys, Claire safely upstairs." Cale entered the living room.
"Oh thanks Cale, you're way to nice to me."
"Hey anything for a friend."
I wanted to hug Cale, but Ryder would get mad..
"So, what should we do now?" Cale asked.
"Umm, how bout we get to know each other?"
"Seems good, I mean I barely know your boyfriend."
Ryder clenched his fist a little. I gave Ryder a look saying un-clench-your-freakin-fist.
"Okay, let's start. Umm..--"
"Favorite sport." Ryder quickly said.
"Baseball."
"Football."
I hesitated, "Umm. Volleyball?"
"Okay.." They both said in unison.
"Favorite food."
"What is it with you and food, Blondie? Rice Krispies. "
"Oh yum, that's good, I second that.", Cale smiled.
I again hesitated and then groaned, "I don't know, I love food..."
"Whip cream?", Ryder winked.
My face burned.
"Hey, whip cream is good.." ,Cale shot back.
"Delicious.. It's heaven.." I closed my eyes and breathed in, with a smile on my face.
"What would you do if you were stranded on an island, with a person in your grade tha you barely know, and a backpack with a piece of food, and sun screen?" I asked.
"Hmm, well, first search for fresh water, then find blue or purple berries or meat, save the piece of foos for later, get to know the person, and find a way to get out.", Cale answered.
"I would take a nice swim, get to know the person, and if it's a girl, get a bit closer, if not.. I just get to know them. Fine food, save the piece of food, build a tiny home, and then find a way to get off the island."
"Of course, always expect that from Ryder. Anyways, I'd build a raft for me, and get the hell outta that island."
"So mean Carter, you'd just leave the person on a island. Tsk tsk."
"Oh shut up Grey, I don't want to get stranded on an island with just one person it'd be awkward. It would probably become like Ryder's way."
"Hey! I take offense."
