Ella PoV's
I walk my heel slowly as I went to the cafeteria, everyone refused to turn their glares away from me. I awkwardly smiled at them, getting a middle finger returned.
'I guess they are not that welcoming, but it's okay! I can do this, we can do this Ella. If only I am able to become more nicer, they'd accept me!' I didn't let their glares bother me, and smiled wider for them to see.
I'm bad at making friends that's why in every chance I could, I'll sprinkle it with a bit of positivity. People around me stared in disgust, some spits on the ground showing me that I am someone they dislike.
I bend down my head, taking dissapointed sighs that fades my wide smile away. 'Did I do something wrong that made them look at me this way?' I took short steps getting close to the counter of the cafeteria.
The lady that handles the cafeteria food frowned after she saw me, her eyes rolled in annoyance. A weak smile appeared on my lips, 'I see... am I really not that presentable to look at?' I took a tray near my elbows, as the cafeteria lady carelessly placed an expired food on my tray.
A hotdog dropped and rolled on dirt, but she managed to pick it up as if nothing had happened. And then, she gently placed it near the expired meat and moldy bread she purposely gave.
The guys behind me snickered pushing me roughly that almost made me fell on the hard ground. Instead of taking complaints on how they poorly treated me, I ignored them.
And walk closer to an empty seat. I hear small giggles in the background, murmurs that mocks my appearance. And rumors on how my private life is worst than theirs.
I stared blankly at my food for a second, and all of them turnt their gaze to me, waiting for my act to eat the food infront of me.
The bread was tattered with green shaded moldy dots, the texture was more dry than normal ones. The bread compared with normal food is more older, and not just that, it seems like it's already been left in the freezer in ages.
When I opened the expired yogurt, I was suprised realizing that it is already open and infected by parasites. 'Parasites we're not even suppose to be in a yogurt's container. And why is it open?' I shook my chin up trying to examine the cafeteria lady. Her lips were formed into a smirk same as others, never it is suprising.
The parasites that is stored in the yogurts container wriggled, I blinked few more times holding my tears. The hotdog is also old and dirty, I could see tiny maggots crawling invading the meat that is suppose to enhance my appetite.
I bit my lips, and shakingly touched the spoon. My finger tips and the metallic texture of the spoon connected making everyone in this room slap their hands on the table.
They were slapping and shouting every chance they get, some even pulled out their phones just to take a video of eating the food that will be a cause of my dead.
"Hey bitch, eat it!"
"Fuck you, just eat the goddamn thing already!"
"You're already fat, eat parasites and you might loosen up weight."
"Lol, no wonder you're such a loser."
I raised the spoon and took a piece of the bread, the mold closer appear to be more horrible. Before even taking a bite on a scooped bread, I took a deep breath and puked infront of them.
Once everyone got dissapointed, phone rays flashes on my face. A food fight had begun, but instead of them throwing food at each other, they tossed their food... but only at me. They called me names and other stuffs.
