Day 5 : last trip

They definitely enjoyed their first day in Jeju and donghyuck was again getting tired every second of the day. He didn't want to ruin the fun because of his state so he just went on the day and told mark to help him with his pills.

"Love let's go?" mark asked as he backhugged donghyuck who was on his phone updating his mom.

Donghyuck just hummed and walked hand in hand with mark. They arrived at the so called fancy rooftop restaurant that jaemin reserved for them.  Yes, all of them were rich but they'd rather not say that. They would rather call themselves 'average'. They were now taking the elevator to go up the 20 story building.

"Woah nana hyun— i mean mom, you really rented the whole floor just for us?" jisung asked. jisung hated the fact that he has to call jaemin mom but he slowly is going with it.

"Yes my chicken little" jaemin said as he pinched jisung's cheeks

"You really went all out. What's the occasion?" donghyuck asked but he didn't understood why jaemin was looking at him like he was about to cry.

"Hyuckie my other baby. Can we talk for a sec?" jaemin asked leaving the other's including donghyuck confused. donghyuck went with him to the corner of the room.

"What did you want to talk ab—"

"When are you planning on telling them?"

"Telling them what?"

"That you only have ten days left"

"Wait how'd you know?"

"My family is the owner of the hospital you've been staying in hyuck. I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I always check up on you whenever you go back there. Don't be mad at me for keeping this from you please"

"I won't be nana, I'm just shocked I guess. But please don't tell anyone about it. I'm planning on telling them the day I finally leave. I don't want to see them sad before I even leave. I love them nana and I can't bare seeing them in a sad state, especially mark"

"I'll keep it from them if that's what you want. Take care up there alright?"

"I love you"

"I love you too hyuck. Lets go back before they become suspicious"

As they went back all eyes were on them.

"What were two talking about?" jeno asked

"I just wanted to ask my other baby about something between our families. It's personal and I don't want tell you guys I'm sorry" jaemin stated as he motioned donghyuck to sit beside mark

"Oh it's alright, I thought you two were talking about something involving us" jeno laughed but it soon died down when everyone looked at him weirdly. "What?"

"That wasn't even funny. You really are nojam" renjun spat and jeno just pouted

"Stop the bickering and let's eat!" jisung shouted enthusiastically

Jaemin and donghyuck shared glances for the last and then they started eating.

-after eating-

Mark has planned to take donghyuck to the lighthouse he wanted to go to and he already told the others not to come. Donghyuck was confused why they were going the other way but he stayed silent about it.

When they arrived at the place donghyuck's eyes lit up as he looked out the lighthouse.

"Mark! No you didn't" he said as he kept on staring at the lighthouse. he didn't even notice that mark was already out the car.

Mark went to donghyuck's side and surprised him by the window.

"Oh yes I did love." he said softly "don't you wanna go? Or do you just want to watch it from afar?" mark asked

"Are you kidding me? Of course I'd go out!" donghyuck exclaimed while going out the car and gave mark a peck on the lips. he then dragged mark to the top of the lighthouse and just stared at the ocean. he listened to the sound of the waves as it made him calm and think about nothing but freedom.

Mark then back hugged him and gave him soft kisses on the back of his neck. Mark would always cherish the moments he shared with the younger because even if he didn't want to admit it, the younger had to leave at some point in time. And sadly he didn't know that the younger would be leaving him in the next few days.

"Love.." donghyuck broke the silence. while holding mark's hands that were wrapped onto his waist.

"Yes love?"

"Thank you for this"

"No need to mention it love. As long as it makes you happy then I'll give to you"

"Yeri told you didn't she?"

"Yes"

"I knew she'd tell you, we promised eachother that she'd bring me here someday and I'd bring her to Paris. But sadly I can't take her there"

"Love, what have I told you?"

"To always be positive and strong. To never think about my illness as long as it's not bothering me. And to always believe in myself"

"That's my sunshine" mark turned him around and shared a passionate and soft kiss.

They spent the whole night at the lighthouse, making out, reminiscing the memories they shared, sobbing onto each other's chest, and just cherishing and making the most out of what they have as of the moment.

'This might be the last time I'll be visiting the lighthouse with you my love. This will also be the last time we'll be complete when you guys have a trip to jeju. Thank you for today and each and everyday my love. For always reminding me that I am strong. Thank you.'
