Day 10 : farewell

Haechan's pov

"Mom, noona, take care of him for me okay?" I said as we entered the room I was assigned in with me on a wheelchair.

I was already tired physically and mentally. I just wanted to give up right there but I still had something to do before I go up there.

Write a goodbye letter. That's what I wanted to do. For my friends and most especially, Lee Minhyung.

I stared at the three figures who were now staring back at me. I was currently lying on my hospital bed or shall I say, death bed.

"Hyuck.." winwin hyung started with tears already visible on his face "You were the most strongest person I have ever seen in my entire life. Imagine, you've been with us for how many years and I just wish that it could've been longer than that but sadly, it's the end. I'll stop talking because I just can't take it. I love you and you already know that." winwin said as he sobbed onto yuta's shoulders

"Hyuck I don't know what to say to you right now but I love you and take care up there kid" yuta hyung said as he rubbed circles onto winwin hyungs back

Doctor Moon then stepped towards my bed"Hi to my most brightest patient. Your literally making Mister Sun sunbaenim jobless." we all laughed at how dr. moon addressed the sun "No but in all seriousness, I hope you'll come back in your next life and it would be longer. I want you to atleast enjoy what you haven't enjoyed in this life. I really enjoyed being your doctor hyuck. I just hope you'll be okay up there" dr. moon said as he tapped my shoulders

Third person's pov

Donghyuck felt loved. He wanted to cry but he knew he'll be making everybody in the room cry more so he stopped himself.

"I'll be watching all of you from above. I love you. Take care okay?" they nodded and mouthed a thank you to him. Doctor Moon and the nurses left after speaking for a little while with donghyuck.

"Mom, I love you and thank you. I'll gladly take care of dad up there and tell him the stories you told us about. And riri noona, I love you too and again, thank you. You've been there from the start and I want you to atleast enjoy life after I leave. You've been spending all your free time for the past few years in taking care of me. You've done enough. Take care of mom for me. And I'm sorry because I can't keep my promise in taking you to Paris." donghyuck said as he spread his arms for them to hug

"It's alright hyuck. I didn't fulfill my promise too, it was mark who took you there and not me. I'll take care of mark and mom for you. I love you" yeri said.

They were all just hugging and crying in eachother's hold.

"Well, I need to make a letter. Yeri noona can you give me a paper and pen?" Yeri then handed donghyuck a paper and pen.

Donghyuck wrote his last letter before he folded it neatly and put it in an envelope. He proceeded to put the designated names for both letters.

'I guess this is it'

"Mom, I'm tired..." donghyuck said as he watched his mom and sister

"Rest honey.. rest well" his mom said as she wiped her tears and hugged her oldest daughter.

"I'll just watch from above ... " and with that he slowly closed his eyes and rested.

'Goodbye to everyone whose been there for me. I love you guys so much'

"You've fought long enough my little brother. You deserve to rest." yeri said as he saw the doctors came running to their room.

"Patient Lee Donghyuck from room 6200 has died at exactly 1:27 pm, afternoon. I'm sorry for your loss." the doctors informed the family.

They were all mourning for donghyuck's loss while his friends together with his boyfriend were happily enjoying their time in the amusement park.
