Cole zipped his blue denim jeans up and glanced at the maid he had just taken to bed. She was asleep black hair sprawled across the satin bed sheets and her tanned limbs entangled in the sheets. She wasn't the best serving girl he had but she wasn't the worst. He shrugged his white polo t-shirt over his head. Cole left his chamber and strode down the hall to the parlour. As he passed his sisters room he hesitated. His father, mother and Sonny were inside and they were all arguing. Curiously he walked in to where they stood at the foot of the four poster bed.

"I couldn't leave him there, daddy." Sonny growled. "He said he had a message. What was I supposed to do, leave him there?"

"Yes. If the message was that important then the Master of Light would have come to me, not you!" Seth said back. "He's an Archangel Sonette! What were you thinking? You know perfectly well that he is not allowed in to the Underworld unless given permission by me! I have no choice but to kill him." Cole took a step back in astonishment. An archangel...Sonny liked to bend the rules but bringing an angel in to the kingdom topped it off. Impressed at Sonny's deviance he glanced at the bed where a limp form lay.

"Daddy! That's a bit harsh." Sonny pouted. "The message might have been for me. Why else would the messenger not have come to you? You can't kill him anyway; he didn't come here. I brought him here. You can't kill him if he didn't consciously choose to come here." She crossed her hands over her chest as she retorted smugly. Cole smirked at his sister.

"Sonny. You should have asked us first." Mum sigh. "Bringing him here may upset the balance of dark and light. And Seth, you know that by leaving him on Earth he could have been found by a human and then who knows what could happen. She had no choice but to bring him here. She was acting logically." His mother put a delicate hand on his father's broad shoulder.

"I will summon the Master of Light. He can deal with him." Seth sighed and ran a hand down his face. "No one is to know about this. The maid will not be allowed in your chamber until the angel is gone. I don't want this getting out to the other demons. Am I understood?" Seth commanded.

"Yes daddy." Sonny said. Cole inclined his head. When their parents had left the room Cole spoke. "Wow Sonny, an angel?"

"Shut up." Sonny mumbled moments later she asked him hesitantly. "Who is he?" Cole took a step towards the bed. The man had a warriors physic with tanned skin. His white wings were still extended. It hurt Cole's eyes to look at them. The angel's hair was golden there was only one angel that had hair as golden as that.

"Raphael." Cole frowned. Why was he delivering the message? His frown deepened.

"Raphael?"

"It doesn't make sense. Gabriel is the messenger angel. He's a soldier." He said pointing at the unconscious man. "Sonny how did you knock him unconscious? He's the Master of Lights strongest warrior. He should be awake." Cole asked.

"I hit him with my darkness." She said sheepishly. "I was going to kill him but he didn't fight back."

"I'm very impressed. He's an experienced soldier even if he was delivering a message he could have a least held his ground. Unless your darkness has all of a sudden matured. I think you should start healing him. I'd like to have a little chat." Cole smirk mischievously.

"Cole. I can't he's light; I'm dark our energy's don't mix. I'll kill him if I heal him. Mum will have to do it."

"I'll talk to her." Cole stated and then strode from the room.

Seth and Kade were in the throne room. The floor was covered in dark wood and the high ceilings were painted ebony. The windows framed with blood red drapes and the darkness crept in from the night sky. They turned their heads when he entered. "Cole? What's wrong?" Kade asked.

"The angel isn't healing by himself." He smirked. "Sonny can't do it herself something about not mixing... She said you've got to do it." He sat on the arm of his mother's high back wooden chair. Kade rolled her eyes. "I should start charging for my services as a flipping nurse." She mumbled as she stood from her chair and left the room. Seth looked bemusedly at Cole. "The Master of Light is meeting us in Sonny's room. Are you going to join us?"

"And miss out on all the drama, as if." Cole grinned at his father.
