Lisa's POV

I give up. I'm not for her and she's not for me, That's pretty clear.

I sighed and continued to stare at Bam's presentation, and I don't understand a single shit on it.

"Over all, Everything is going as planned and we continue to grow." He said with a smile. He knows I wasn't listening, but it's Bam what would I expect? He'll pretend He doesn't know that i'm not listening but he does so I won't feel bad.

"Okay... Thx Bam." I said sincerely, I didn't mean his presentation I meant his super understanding self.

"you're very welcome, and You know, Jisoo is here and she keeps asking for you." Bam said.

"So? Am'I supposed to care if she's here?" I said in an irritated tone. That girl is a pain in the ass. We dated and we broke up Cause Again she's a pain in the ass.

"Come on just try it out. She might be your way out of your misery." He said with his knowing smirk.

"I did try her out and we just don't fit." I said with a frown. Oh God I don't wanna see that girl.

"She said she's willing to change for you." Bam said and chuckled. It made me giggle too.

"Oh really?" I asked.

"Yep. wanna see our convo?" He asked and was about to fish his phone out of his pocket, when I raised my hand signaling him to not show me their convo.

"No thank you. It's a pain to see her desperation." I said and massaged my forehead.

I might actually consider this. You know a distraction, Since I need to forget a certain brunette with cat like eyes.

"What's her number again?" I asked and pulled my phone out to save her number.

"What? You're really doing it?" Bam asked with his wide eyes and shocked face.

"Mhm" I hummed in agreement and waited for him to tell me the number.

He gave me the number and he excused himself cause he has meetings to attend.

"Have fun Lis." He said while closing the door.

"Hope so..." I said and typed a message for Jisoo.

me:"Hey!🖑" I typed and clicked send.

Jisoo:"Hey babe...🙁" I cringed at her reply.

I thought I was gonna vomit... But continued anyway.

me: " Are you free tonight?"

Jisoo: "Of course!"

Wow! Get yah a gurl that could replace you in a couple of hours. Wink wink LMAO

me: "Cool. Where do u live?"

She told me where she lives and agreed to meet me there at 8pm tonight.

and I just spend the day reading some books about business. Which I've never read before, And chill on my sofa. Whatching netflix on my TV whenever I feel bored of reading.

I finished the book and learned some basics about business, Well it's hard but I think I can do it.

I looked at my wrist watch and it says 6:26pm.

Jennie's POV

I'm assigned to clean the whole parking area. Including the private one. Where Lisa parks her car. I looked at my watch and saw that it's already 7:35pm

I'm currently riding a machine that mops the floor and I'm halfway through her big parking space that has 15 car slots, Even though she only uses 1 when she goes to work. I swear rich people has a big mental issue. Especially that monkey ugh! I rolled my eyes and scrunched my face when I remembered how she neglected my efforts to make her breaksfast and her lame ass excuse of being frustrated. Like she's not the only one having a bad day. There's like billions of us in this planet and she acts as if she has the biggest problem.

I still understand her though. I know her pain of feeling alone and stuff and She's probably the most dramatic person cause she's never been judged and she thinks that whatever she do is alright. Mostly because no one wants to be honest with her, Cause they're afraid of losing their Jobs or they're afraid of ruining their image infront of the most richest person alive.

I heard her elevetor dinged which caught my attention and I saw Lisa walk out of it with her poker face that looks extremely hot with her suit and tall self, and boy she looks spaced out she looks like her mind is somewhere else...

She walked straight into her car not even noticing me. Luckily this machine is battery operated so there's no annoying sound.

Her car is high tech so I don't feel concerned or anything, It can drive on it's own. All you gotta do is say the location. Kai told me about it, Kai's an engineer in beast tech btw and her car is invented by beast tech which is her company. But she also uses a drivable car, It depends on her mood.

and I stared as her heavily tinted car zoom out of the parking space and out of my sight.

I continued to clean the whole place out cause I like neat things and Refrained my brain to travel to Lalisa Manoban.

Lisa's POV

"You have arrived." Says the AI from my car.

I spend another 30 mins. Thinking if my actions is a must or purely out of desperation to forget about Jennie, Which sounds the same but somehow for me it has a difference.

I looked at my watch and it says 8:36pm.

I fished my phone out expecting a shit load of messages from Jisoo, But surprisingly my messages are empty.

3 years ago when I was dating Jisoo, She couldn't last an hour without me, Especially without an acceptable reason, and Without such long and utterly realistic reasons she'll go full monster on me.

I hopped out of my car and walked on her pathway to a modern looking house with flowers on each window and it's boxy but glassy as well, very open and fresh and it's in a middle of huge land filled flowers and grass, Well Jisoo is an architech, and she's a big fan of modern and futuristic things and That's why we happened, For 2 months. Cause I invent futuristic cool stuff.

I pushed the doorbell and waited for her to open up, and a couple of seconds after, I hear running footsteps to the door.

Oh poor self... What have we gotten ourself into?
