I was walking through the hallway near the medicine department, Mara's not with me today cuz' she's doing some plates, she's in architecture class.
So as I was walking, liliko na sana ako when I heard voices. Parang nagtatalo na mag jowa. Eww dito pa talaga napiling mag away, bulgaran lang ganern?
Sisigawan ko na sana silang dalawa kaso... ayon nakita ko iyong lalaking ini-istalk ko habang hawak hawak ang kamay nung babae at mukhang nag i-explain. Taena may ganto?
Sabay silang napalingon sa akin ng biglang mahulog ang dala kong mga libro. Fuck nagulat ako e, kaya nabitawan ko iyong mga libro. Dali-dali kong pinulot iyon at pinagpagan, buti nalang at hindi nasira makukulangan pa ang allowance ko kapag pinagbayad ako ng library nito. Hayst.
Naglakad ulit ako ng deri-deritso na parang walang nangyari.
The hell?! May jowa na pala ang lalakeng iyon? Tsk! Sayang naman ang pinaghirapan kong pag sunod sunod sa kaniya at pagpapapansin na hindi naman gumana. Packingsheyt!
Taas noo ko silang nilagpasan doon at nagtuloy-tuloy na sa paglalakad. Shocks sayang talaga, gwapo pa naman sana.
So ayon nga nakalampas na ako sa kanila ng ilang metro pero may biglang sumabay sakin sa paglalakad. I rolled my eyes ready to face another guy na ang gusto lang namang gawin ay ikama ako. Tsk! These guys are pathetic.
"Why are you following me?"
Oh. Ako sana ang magsasabi niyan because he's literally following me right now but the heck siya pa ang may ganang magsabi niyan? Who the hell is he for me to follow?
"Excuse me but-" Oh-wow. Siya pala iyan? Yezzer, you're right it's none other than Mr. Doctor. And I finally notice that he's wearing a lab coat. He look so clean and fresh even under the heat of the sun. Pwede nang model ng Calla 'to. Chos. Tsaka ang bango!
"Oh it's you." The guy who looked pathetic while explaining to her girlfriend in the hallway. I continued walking while answering him. Kasi baka pwede naman kaming sumilong habang nagsasalita no? Ang init kaya dito sa ground.
"FYI Mr. Doctor, I did not follow you. It just happened that I have to pass through that hallway and I did not heard anything so don't worry too much." Hinarap ko siya ng nasa hallway na naman kami. Maraming hallway dito sa amin okay? Malaking University 'to kaya maraming pasikot sikot.
" Really huh?" He cross his arms over his chest and stare blankly at me." Then what about the other day? And was it last week or 3 days ago? And in the library, I caught you many times." Opps! So he noticed huh? Tsk I knew it!
I smirk. "So you noticed me." I put my weight on my left foot and look at him while putting my famous flirty smirk. "Now boy let me get this thing straight." I walked closer to him, hanggang sa ang kamay kong nasa gitna na may hawak na libro nalang ang nagsisilbing harang sa katawan naming dalawa. He seemed tense at what I did. What? Ngayon lang ba siya naka encounter ng babaeng makalas na nga ang loob mas malakas pa ang appeal?
"I. Like. You. Very much. So if I were you, dump that girlfriend of yours and have fun with me. I'm more easy to handle than that girl. Psh! If I will become your girlfriend, I would let you do anything you want without controlling you. So please choose wisely Mister. Hmm? Be mine and I'll be yours." I touch his chin seductively with my index finger and then wink at him before I bid good bye.
After that I didn't saw him na. I also got too busy preparing for the final exam and other school activities. Isabay mo pa na malapit na naman ang Intramural. I was chosen to compete as a representative of Civil Engineering Department for Ms. University. The last time I joined Ms. University was when I was a freshman and ended up being a 2nd runner up. Now I am confident that I can win this kaya hindi ko na pinalagpas.
The finals ended smoothly pero ito na naman si Mara at over talaga palagi ang reaction. I just listen to her rants while thinking of Mr. Doctor. I just realize that I didn't know his name! This is hilarious! I have been hitting on him but I didn't even know his name.
"Hey Mara, do you know Mr. Doctor's name?" She stopped talking and look at me with wide eyes. She probably think that I am unbelievable.
"What?! You are unbelievable!" She yelled. See? Told yah, ganiyan talaga siya mag react e. "Sineduce mo na iyong tao pero di mo pala alam ang pangalan? Jusko Elizabeth may taong kagaya mo pa pala! You don't know his name? E ako nga noong sinabi mo na crush mo siya ni-stalk ko nga iyon agad e, tapos ikaw pa pala ang hindi nakakaalam ng pangalan niya?" Crush? Did I say that I had a crush on that guy?
"I didn't said that I had a crush on him. I like him okay?" She looked at me with those puzzled look.
"Psh! Whatever you say! Iba ka rin talaga mag-isip e. Pero ayon nga his name is Nathaniel Tyrone Xavier Laurent."
"So Laurent is his surname huh?"
"No sis it's just his name. May sinabi ba ako na full name niya iyon?" I am shocked at what she said. Why does he have a four word name?! Whose mother would like to suffer her child by simply writing his own name? Gosh!
"His surname is Cameron." Ohh. Grabe talaga ang source ng babaeng 'to kahit full name na napakataas alam na alam eh. Samantalang hindi ko man lang namemorize iyon.
Intramural started, 3 days lang iyon dahil busy daw ang college student government at graduating na ang iba sa kanila kaya minadali nalang. As expected I won the Ms. University, everyone cheered for me especially those guys who used to be my exes and flings, nakalaban ko din pala 'yong girlfriend ni Nathan or Mr. Doctor, I only remembered Nathaniel in his name. She won 1st place though.
Ito na ang last day ng Intramural kaya mag-cecelebrate ang department namin dahil kami ang over all champion sa games sa college category at nanalo pa sa Ms. University. Ngayon lang talaga 'to nangyari.
But what surprises me the most is when someone pulled me away from my block mates and brought me at the back of the Engineering Department Building. I am ready to shout when the guy covered my mouth with his big hand. I swear he can cover my face with that hand. And when I look at the kidnapper, I met his beautiful light brown eyes. And that's when I knew that this man will be the death of me.
"I am accepting your offer. Be mine and I'll be yours." With that he didn't even let me blink and kiss me fully on my lips.
After a long time, the butterflies in my stomach came to life again. I swear that I will fight for this man. No matter what hindrance that will come I won't give him up. He will be mine and I will be his.
