Familiar ringing filled my ears as I raised, my arm, swatting the top of my alarm clock in order to turn it off. Instinctively, I reached to my right and took hold of my phone, turning it on and letting my eyes adjust to the bright light. A new message from an unknown number? What on earth?

Koushi- Hey there! Sorry about the other day when I bumped into you with the kids and then accidentally spilt coffee onto you, I know I've apologized at least a hundred times now but I still feel bad, would you like to come over to my place after work for dinner?

Sawamura- Yeah, sure, what time?

Koushi- Around 6 maybe? any requests? allergies?

Sawamura- Chef's choice And no. Also my names Daichi.

Koushi- Alright! Nice to meet you Daichi, I'm Sugawara.

Sawamura-  Could I um have your address?

Koushi- OH, right sorry! its, ** ******* *****.

Sawamura- Thanks, See you at 6!

I laughed cheerfully from that quick conversation. The other day when the incident had happened I had been assigned as the crossing guard for the nearby Daycare and Primary School as more and more cases of the young children almost getting hit by some idiots who could barely drive, and that was when Sugawara had bumped into me spilling his piping-hot Starbucks latte on my uniform and every day since then, every day he'd see me at the crossing he would apologize and proceed to run off with the little ones. Not that I minded him that much though, he was actually quite cute... Wait no- there is a 99.99% that he's heterosexual and not like my gay ass.

I stood, walking over to my closet and taking out my still coffee smelling uniform, no matter how many times I washed this thing the smell never came out, no matter how many times I used that bloody Vanish Gold, the smell would never come out. I took my shirt off throwing it at the bottom of my closet and threw my uniform shirt and little pocket vest on, and the same with my pants. I grabbed my trainers and threw them on tying each of the laces in a small, double-knotted bow grabbing my whistle and hat, dropping my whistle in my left chest pocket and my hat on my head, I slumped my way downstairs and into the kitchen, walking into the pantry and humming a little melody to myself.

I grabbed a few slices of bread, knowing that if I even bothered to try and use the stove I'd burn my house to ashes, and threw them in the toaster, walking over to my fridge and grabbing my small block of butter and a knife from the drawer waiting by the toaster expectantly.

"C'mon any time today.." I muttered under my breath waiting for my two pieces of toast to pop-up although I knew that when it did, I would jump back shouting something stupid like, 'OH GOOD ASAHI.' As I usually did. I turned my back to the toaster leaning my back on the counter-top checking the time. 7:30 am. I had to be at the crossing at 8:00 am so it would be fine I would have time to eat my toast, check my phone, and then leave and still get there on time as the crossing was only a 15-minute walk from my house.

"ASAHI-CHRIST.." My toast popped up. I had screamed those two words like a girl and fallen to my knees. I stood up again muttering profanities under my breath as I took my toast from the toaster and began buttering it on the counter-top. As I finished buttering my toast I grabbed a plate from the cabinet by my knees and placed my toast onto it, one piece on top of the other. I sighed sitting down at my small four-seater dining table and taking my phone from my pocket and turning it on. '4 missed calls from Azumane Asahi.' I groaned as I hit the 'Call-back' button and sandwiched the phone between my ear and my shoulder shovelling toast into my mouth before he answered.

"DAICHI I'VE CALLED YOU FOUR TIMES NOW WHY DIDN'T YOU PICK UPP? I WAS SO WORRIED! I THOUGHT YOU'D DIED! YUU'S LAUGHING HIS HEAD OFF!" He shouted down the phone, a slight hint of anger layered his words finely.

"Woah, Woah calm down big guy, has your man bun cut off the circulation to your brain or something? it's seven in the morning." I replied, chuckling with my words.

"No, No it's just that I wanted to tell you that we're sending Shoyo to that daycare where you do your crossing job as we thought it'd be safer and better for him if he saw a re-assuring face."

"Oh alright then, if I see the little maniac I'll talk with him if I see him alright Asahi?"

"Alright then! Bye!" Asahi chirped hanging up the phone stopping me from replying to him. I sighed and went onto Facebook scrolling through some pictures as I ate my toast silently. 7:31... 7:32.... 7:33.... 7:34... swiftly turned into7:55.

"CRAP," I shouted tossing my phone into my lower side pocket whilst I jumped to my feet, carefully dropping my plate into the sink and sprinting down the hallway, grabbing my wallet and keys dropping my wallet in my trouser pocket and keys in hand. I stepped out the door locking it and then shoving my keys into the same pocket as my phone and sprinting down the streets of Miyagi. I knew if I ran fast enough that I'd be able to make it on time and Suga and the kids wouldn't usually show up till about 8:10 so I had plenty of time to hopefully see Sugawara and Shoyo, although I was more excited about the first person a little more...
