I finished my coffee, placing the empty mug into my sink and proceeding to check my phone for the fourth time. 5:40. And with that I was tying my shoelaces, grabbing my phone, house and car keys, getting in my car and driving to Suga's house...

"Why am I here again?" I ask myself as I sit in my car in front of Sugawara's house- head against the steering wheel.

"Oh wait! I know why! I'm here because I have some stupid crush on my godson's daycare teacher!" I sigh hitting my head against the steering wheel causing it to 'honk' at me.

"ASAHI!" I screamed like a bloody girl bouncing back in my seat and hitting my head against the back of my seat. I groaned rubbing the back of my head soothingly mumbling profanities under my breath as I proceed to step out of my car slamming the door behind me, pushing open the small black gate, and walking up Sugawara's garden path. Stopping at his door and sighing, again. I knocked on the door three times and took a step back, waiting patiently by the door looking down at my feet.

"Ah, Daichi! Right on time! How's your head?" Sugawara chuckled looking at me with an angelic smile.

"Uh, you saw that? It's fine," I replied laughing a bit with my words.

"Yeah, I heard your car pull up while I was um-sat-waiting, and well I-I um, looked out the window and uh saw..." He stuttered blushing a little. "Anyway come in Officer Daichi!" Sugawara added stepping aside and gesturing for me to come in.

"Thank you Teach," I replied walking in and taking my shoes off, and leaving them by the door. God, he looked good in his clean, black apron. Sugawara shut the door behind me before skipping back into what I guessed was the kitchen. I quickly followed walking into the kitchen, Sugawara was setting the table placing a plate of spaghetti bolognese in front of two chairs, a glass of water, and utensils by each of the plates.

"Woah," I said as Sugawara took off his apron throwing it into his washing machine and laughing.

"Go ahead take a seat!" Suga said cheerfully as I complied waiting for him to sit down before doing anything.

"I'll be first to admit it looks and smells amazing," I exclaimed admiring the food as Sugawara chuckled picking up his fork and pointing at me and my plate of food.

"Go ahead, try a bit!" He replied as I picked up my own fork placing it in the pasta, turning it a little, and then putting it into my mouth as Sugawara kept his gaze upon me waiting for my response. "So?"

"Mmmphrf... It's amazing!" I said as I swallowed, It truly was amazing, probably to the point of where it was the best meal I'd had in weeks.

"Glad you like it Daichi!"

"That was the best meal I've ever had," I said as Sugawara stood up and picked up both of our plates and walking over to the sink with them.

"Glad you liked it!" He replied walking back over to the table, picking up the glasses and utensils, and also placing them in the sink.

"Hey, would it be alright if I helped? It's the least I can do," I asked standing up and walking over to Sugawara who was busily washing the dishes. He nodded pointing at the tea towel gesturing for me to dry them as he washed them. We began washing the dishes, joking around, and talking a bit about ourselves, and getting the occasional flick of playful water in my face.

"Oh come on! You can't even cook!" Sugawara laughed as he finished washing the final plate and handing it to me to dry. I quickly dried it before retorting and wrapping my arms around him.
