"What did he say to you?" Liam said on our ride home.

"We just, talked, I guess."

"Yeah I get that, but what about? Did he tell you anything specifically?"

"Well, he's going to rehab."

"Oh my god that's great news!"

"Yeah." I trailed off.

"What's the matter?" Liam looked over at me. His eyes were filled with worry.

"It's just," I began, "Andrew kept saying he doesn't want to be like me. He said no matter what he can't end up how I did, but honestly I don't even remember much of what I actually did. It's blank." I brushed my fingers through my hair, trying to think about the past, but nothing comes up. It's almost like I'm trying to solve a puzzle, but so many pieces are missing.

"Harry, I'm sure he didn't mean it like that. He just wants to get better for Miranda, you know that. It'll all be okay."

We were stopped at a red light for what felt like forever.

"Please don't say it'll be okay. Do you know how many times I've been told everything will be okay? I can tell you it starts to lose its meaning after the hundredth time." I shake my head and cover my face with my hands. I close my eyes and try to figure out what's become of me, and what I was, but nothing is making any sense.

"Look, you're better now. You're doing fine. You will be just like your old self again, and Andrew will be like his. he won't be so angry anymore."

"Liam you aren't listening. I am not okay."

"Jesus Harry. Can you stop thinking about yourself. This is Andrew. He could've died. He needs the help you already got, and we're giving it to him. Start being a friend instead of a self absorbed ass, alright?" Liam didn't raise his voice, he never even turned his head. Everything he said just rolled off the tongue, making it the truth. He never needed to express his statement, for it was the most known fact. I was selfish, and I need help.

"Stop the car." I said.

"Harry, come on. Don't be like this."

"Stop the fucking car Liam." But he wouldn't. He just kept on driving.

"Liam I swear to god." He never listened.
My heart began to race, and my chest began to grow heavy. It felt like I just took some edibles. I couldn't really comprehend what was about to happen, but before I knew it, the car door was open, and I was on the cement ground, rolling over in pain. My arm was most likely fractured and my shoulder felt displaced. The adrenaline quickly kicked in though. So I was lying on my back, facing the sky, watching the clouds move north above me.

"Harry what the fuck?!" I heard Liam say from over me. His face was merely a blurred out shape in the way of the bright blue sky. Everything around me was blurred except the sky and clouds.

Liam ended up dragging me back to the car, and laying me in the back seat. He took me to the hospital, and told the doctors I fell out of a tree.

"What was he doing in a tree to begin with if I may ask?"

I was lying on the hospital bed with a tube sticking out of my arm going into an IV bag. A breathing tube was coming out of my nose, and my arm was already in a cast.

"He was putting up a swing for our friends nephew, I guess he lost his balance."

"The swing must've been very high then." The doctor looked at his clipboard.

"It was a long rope."

The doctor ended up making me stay in the hospital over night just in case I had a minor concussion. The other boys came to visit me for a while, but left around seven. They didn't let me call Alexandra for some reason, so I asked Liam if he could call her for me.
