"Wow- you look-"

"Shut up. I am not in the mood," Minho replied.

Hyunjin smirked, happy he got to tease him(it was his favourite pastime), "Yeah, I can see why. I mean if I looked like that, which I won't ever by the way, I'd be pretty pissed off too. You shouldn't have drunk so much yesterday."

"Why do you not look bad? You had just as much to drink and you're not even of age."

"I mean technically you weren't either. I was talking to your mum and she said you were born around 11pm and I think we went there before that so-"

"Be quiet with your technicalities. Come on, we're going to be late," Minho grumbled, handing him his helmet.

"Since when are you so eager to get to school," Hyunjin teased and then he got out a wrapped present from behind him where he's been holding it this entire time. "By the way, happy belated 18th. I don't know if I already said it yesterday-"

"You did. Multiple times."

"Yeah well, I don't remember plus I didn't bring your gift so here," Hyunjin thrust the object at Minho who snatched and quickly unwrapped it.

It was silent for a bit while Minho stared at the present. Though he didn't say anything, Hyunjin could tell he was touched due to the almost indecipherable smile that had graced Minho's face.

"So," Hyunjin said, dragging out the 'o'. "Do you like it?"

"Arsehole. You got me a picture of yourself."

"You're in it too! And there's a message."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Minho scoffed, lightly jogging back to his house a street away. When he came back, the frame wasn't in his hands. Hyunjin was 99% sure Minho was keeping it safe but there was a small chance he might have thrown it.

Shaking his head, he followed Minho as they got on their bikes and rode towards school. He couldn't wait to graduate.

"When is this day going to end?" Changbin moaned then winced as he felt a sharp slap at the back of his head.

"It's only just second period. Don't make me sad too."

Changbin was about to say something back but suddenly, one of the girls in their class walked up to them. (They'd been sitting next to each other in class since the day after their detention when they'd realised they were in the same class.)

"Hey, Minho?"

The boy next to him turned to her, albeit quite reluctantly, "Yes?

"Happy birthday. You didn't come to school yesterday so I couldn't give- Uh this," she held up a neat box and placed it on his desk. "It's only a small gift, just chocolates but uh- congrats on turning 18."

Changbin gaped as the unnamed girl walked away.

"You didn't tell us it was you birthday- ooh, are those the nice ones?" he got distracted by the fancy design.

Minho scoffed and gave it to his seatmate who gasped and immediately scarfed one down.

"And it's your eighteenth as well?" Changbin continued after he'd consumed about a quarter of the chocolates. "I thought you said you're already 18?"

"I didn't come to school and I forgot to tell you guys," Minho shrugged.

"You could have texted us. Wait, are you even in the group?" Changbin pulled out his phone to check.
