Chapter 7: "A New Genin 2"

Minato pulled out 2 bells that were in his pocket from his joinin vest. "Okay (Name), you will be doing the bell test since your teammates have already done this test, they'll be watching." He said as he gestured Rin, Obito, and Kakashi sit under a tree together, while they look at you. He explained to you the rules, "You must get these bells from me before sundown. You may use any technique, to get these bells from me." he says while dangling the bells that were in his hand. "But, I won't go easy on you." He smirked as you both got into your positions. "Alright!" You shouted.

A few moments later the time was ticking...

"Begin!" He shouted as you went to go hide.

You hid behind the nearest tree and saw your dad just standing there, waiting for your first move. You started making a shadow clone, you make it go to Minato to distract him. Minato sees your shadow clone and a few moments later he makes it go poof. You make an other one. Your shadow clone charges at him and starts to fight him, he then makes it poof and an other one comes and charges at him. You come out from your hiding spot increase my chakra into my fist and— "Hm, nice try (Name), but you have to do something better than that." Minato smiled as he stopped you from hitting him, grabbing your wrist and held you in place.

You strangle in his grasp. "Your shadow clones were a delusion to distract me so that you can find an opening to hit me." Minato smirked. You had to do at least something to hit him. "You aren't just a jonin for nothing.." You say struggling as you finally freed yourself from his grip. Charging at him, making shadow clones and everything. But you just kept getting caught and pinned by him.

Some moments of punching, hitting, your time was almost up. You had to think fast, so you went into hiding again. As you made multiple shadow clones, "this has to work this time, it's my only option..." you said to yourself as you look at Minato destroying all your shadow clones again.

You infuse your chakra into your fist again. You waited until you found an opening. You saw an open spot, his stomach. You then rush towards him as you punched him there, "Take this!" you yell, making him fly. (A/N: I believe I can fly~). Making him crash into a tree. You ran up to him and see him kind of knocked out on the ground, but it then goes poof. 'Damn it, a shadow clone?' You thought 'I was fighting a shadow clone all along!?'. You try to find Minato and you see him in out the in the open.

'What should I do...!?' You thought while putting your hand on your chin. Then thought of an idea, so you made two shadow clones and made both of them charge at Minato. As he got distracted you go up behind him, silently and making your chakra not known. You successfully grabbed one of the bells. Then focused increase all your chakra into your fist and punched him again. Only to be caught by him again. "You thought you're sneaky?" He raised a brow at you but it didn't matter to you, "Well it worked." you smile at him, dangle the bell that you grabbed from him.

He chuckled, "Good job." Minato said proudly while patting your head. The others where staring at me. "That was amazing!" Rin shouted with open arms, running to you. "Thanks Rin." you laugh as she embraced you almost making you lose your balance, hugging her back. Minato then cleared his throat as you all looked at him, "Well then, tomorrow we will be having our first mission, so be prepared." Minato said. And so, for the rest of the day, you all just took a walk around Konoha.
