Dear Readers,
This is a story set in the West African nation of Nigeria. There are various cultural references and also some occasional dialogue in Yoruba language. Do not be discouraged, there are English translations.
That being said, I would like to appeal to whoever reads this story to be polite in their commentary about the culture and traditions depicted. We are all unique, and should show tolerance and respect to one another.
Thank you for giving my story a chance, this is my first time of participating in the Open Novella Contest. It is based on ONC Africa prompt 51:
Your job as a gossip reporter is to find dirt on a couple, but you find nothing. To keep your job, you fabricate dirt/gossip that may cost you your life.
Please remember to like, comment and share, if you enjoy it.
