Chapter Thirty Two

Saphs Pov:

"Ronald Weasley!" I woke to the shouting of Molly downstairs. I walked down the steps and made my way to the kitchen.
"Good morning, Sapphire!" Molly greeted me as I took a seat next to Fred at the table.
"What did Ron do?" I ask, laughing lightly.
"Tried to use a spell on ginny that would keep her mouth closed." George explained while taking a sip of his orange juice.
"Sounds like him." I laugh as Ron rolls his eyes in my direction.

The rest of the family came down and met us all in the kitchen for breakfast. Arthur began talking about all sorts of muggle items he had retrieved from one of his latest raids. It was nice to be at the burrow. We had a break from everything, and got to spend time with the people we were most close to.

After everyone had eaten, Hermione and I helped Molly clear the table, and wash the dishes, though magic did most of the cleaning however.
  "Hows everything been, Saph? Ive heard you have had a difficult few weeks, dear." Molly asked while setting a plate in the cupboard.
   "Oh, Its alright, Yeah few weeks haven't been all sunshine, but everything's really good!" I smiled at her. She gave me a small smile, almost in sympathy. Did she know about the mark? What does she think happened these past weeks?

Fred and I had spent most of the day, lazily laying on the couch in the living room, him tracing circles on my stomach with his finger. Remus and Tonks arrived. 
   "Hello everyone!" Tonks greeted warmly, walking over to Molly.  George quickly ran downstairs, getting ready for the meeting. As Fred walked towards the kitchen, I stayed seated on the couch.
   "Well cmon!" He motioned for me to follow.
"Oh okay."
I instinctively got up and walked over to the table, sitting between Fred and George.

"We have decided to leave the night before Harry's birthday." Remus instructed. We spent about an hour making plans for the war, and how we planned to fight against Voldemort.

"We will see you soon!" Tonks said brightly before leading her and Remus out of the burrow. We all disbanded and went back to what we were doing. George met with the others back upstairs, Fred and I went back over to the couch.

"You've got really pretty hair, I don't think Ive ever told you." He whispered in my ear as he ran his fingers through.
   "Yeah?"
"Yeah."
I smiled as he continued to play with my hair, obviously finding peace in it. I felt like I could live in this moment forever. It was the most peaceful i've felt  in a long time.

He rubbed my arm with his thumb, where you'd be able to see the dark mark if it wasn't for the spell I casted to cover it.
  "I wish I could get rid of it somehow." I said in a low voice, almost a whisper.
   "Whys that?" He asked, looking up at me and meeting my eyes.
  "Its so ugly. I hate that its always going to be a part of me."
   "Sapphire, cmon. You're beautiful with or without it." He smiled at me, trying to lighten my mood on the subject.
  Our silence was broken by a small peck at the window. I got up and grabbed the letter from the owl, which was addressed to me.

I returned to my seat next to Fred on the couch as I opened the envelope, revealing the parchment.

Dear Sapphire,
Ive tried everything I could to get rid of this mark, its no use, not sure why I even bothered. My dad has been extra secretive lately, more meetings without me included. Just odd. When did everything become to complicated? Life was good until it wasn't. I hope you're well.

I lightly frowned reading his letter, seeing he was struggling as much as me. He did have a point, life had been so simple, I couldn't place when it all started to go wrong.

Draco,
Im sorry to hear you've been struggling, I have had the same wonders, If there was anything I could do to get rid of this hideous mark. Ive been making due with a simple concealing spell. Consider the meeting without you a blessing, if they are anything like our last one, its better to sit out. I hope to see you soon.
