"Paimon thinks we should take a break!"
in her usual whiny voice, she kicks her feet down into the air, you sigh and look over to her.
"you're fine though, you float in the air!"
she huffs and places her fists on her hips.

"I'm talking about you! you have been running around the place without a break! plus Paimon is hungry!~"
she floats over to you and hits your arm like a child throwing a tantrum and hitting the floor, you push her away.

"I guess we should take a break then..."
you turn your head to look at the man who had been following you the whole time, he seemed spaced out looking at the area, he had said it was a long time since he stepped foot in Mondstadt you couldn't really blame him for being a bit zoned out.

"Zhongli?"
his head slowly turns to face you as he forces himself to rip his attention away from the view, his long ponytail softly swished behind him.

"hmm...?"
you smiled at him, he looked over to Paimon who was now pulling on your arm trying to get you somewhere else safer, he gave a confused look at the both of you.

"come on let's go before Paimon starts pulling on our hair"
he nods as you let Paimon lead you to wherever she wanted you to go, while she could just float around braches you had to move them to keep them from hitting your face, as well as stopping them from springing back and hitting Zhongli's face.

Paimon starts pulling you faster, you try your best to not hit yourself face-first into a branch you accidentally let go of a branch sooner than expected you heard a small grunt and a twig crack and fall onto the ground, you turn around to see Zhongli lightly touching a slightly reddened area on his face. Paimon lets go of you as you go to check on him.

"you okay?"
without thinking much you cup his cheeks into your hand, it wasn't that bad but you still had your worries, there was a small cut on his cheek and you wipe away the small amount of blood with your thumb. he didn't do anything, he just let you do it, he looked into your eyes as you frowned a bit.

you finally noticed what you did and your face flushed up a bit, you pulled away he only hummed and closed his eyes, fixing his glove he slowly opened his eyes again to look down at you.
"Sorry..."

"it's fine."
he starts to walk ahead, holding a branch up his golden eyes flicker to you, you walk next to him, it was for the better you both stay at one's side so that doesn't happen again. walking a bit further you find a beautiful meadow filled with glowing yellow flowers, your eyes widen as you let out a small gasp.

"Wo~ow!"
Paimon floated towards the flowers with stars in her eyes, you smile and walk towards Paimon, you look around the area for a free space to make a fire.

"Paimon could you help me?"
she nods already knowing what you need, she goes to get twigs and sticks, you find rocks that were of a good size and you start making a fire in the dry grass, placing rocks around the area you wanted to keep it contained in Paimon places the sticks in, fanning the flame it grew bigger.
