Ashley had no intention whatsoever of doing any of her math homework.
She'd lied to Amal as an excuse not to go over to his house. If she did, Ashley knew that she'd feel compelled to tell him how she felt.
And that was exactly what she'd always wanted to do. But one doubt had remained in her heart - how would he react?
None of that mattered anymore, not now. She'd already compromised her friendship with Amal when she lied to him, although he didn't know that.
Torn apart, Ashley made up her mind.
