chapter 6

FEW MINUTES EARLIER

ANNA POV
- i quickly ran up the stairs to wake y/n when i got to the door of my bedroom i opened it slowly to see her still peacefully sleeping. i sat beside her just admiring her beauty as she slept i know kinda creepy but seeing her in such a state it was too cute of a moment to pass up. i carefully brought my hand up to her cheek and caressed it with my thumb. feeling her soft skin against mine brought back loads of memories of me in her embrace back in michigan i couldn't help myself from smiling as i stared at her. i leaned in to kiss her forehead and just as i pulled away she started to awaken i quickly took my hand away from her face. as much as i wanted to stay in that moment forever i don't want a repeat of what happened earlier. i don't want to rush her into remembering things if it pains her so much
- "hi" i whispered to her
- she softly smiled back at me as she opened her eyes "hi" she whispered back with a little rasp to her voice
- we stared at each other for what felt like years i was getting so lost in her eyes i could feel my cheeks getting all red at how her stare made me feel these butterflies. omg how could i have ever let her go. no matter how hard i tried i just couldn't look away her gaze was too addicting to not look into... *ding*
- shit. her phone went off and we both snapped out of that precious moment we had. she immediately reached over to her phone and checked the notification that came in
- "fuck i gotta get going soon my boyfriend is supposed to pick me up from my house in 15 mins" she said quickly getting up from the bed
- "right. your boyfriend." i mumbled disappointingly
- she was in the restroom freshening up and i got up from the bed "alright well when you're all ready head on downstairs to say hi to a couple of my billions of roommates and you'll be on ur way" i forced a smile
- "alright for sure! i'll be down in just a minute" she responded and i made my way downstairs to warn eva and katie

Y/N POV
- after anna left i immediately went to the sink and started splashing myself with water. damn i gotta get these butterflies outta my stomach from that little stare down me and anna had before i meet up with michael. why was she making me feel this way?? i don't knowww. i splashed my face with water again to get her gorgeous... beautiful... cute little face out of my mind. omg no y/n stop it. i splashed my face once more shaking my head to get her completely out of my mind. as soon as i almost completely calmed my nerves i dried my face and made my way out the bedroom.
- as i opened the door to exit anna's room i heard her 10 billion roommates. damn it sounded like there was a party going on downstairs. i closed the door behind me and walked to the stairs as i was walking down them i heard a girl scream my name. the house went quiet.

PRESENT

- "um yes?" i responded. all eyes were on me as i walked down the stairs when i reached the bottom of the stairs i saw...
- "bebe?" i looked to michael in shock
- "what are u doing here" i laughed. he looked to me with his eyes widened
- "um bubba? what are YOU doing here?" he nervously asked
- "oh this was my new friend i was talking to u about" i said pointing at anna. he didn't look too happy abt it. he was looking at both me and anna with worry in his eyes "um anna this is my boyfriend, michael" anna was also in some sort of shock. what the fuck was happening
- "waiittt do you two know each other?!" i curiously asked
- "yeah you could say that" anna said as her and michael just death stared at each other
- "wow what a small world!" i said attempting to cheer everyone up
- there was an awkward silence so i turn to the two other girls who were also in complete shock and introduced myself
- "ok well um hi i'm y/n"
- "um hi-hi hello i'm uh eva cudmore" she smiled "oh and this is uh um uh..."
- "katie! hi um i'm katie pego" she responded
- "ahh nice to meet u two, eva and katie" i smiled
- "you too" eva responded
- "i'm sorry but you are hot as fuck" katie blurted out
- "KATIE?!" michael and anna screamed while eva nudged katie. i just laughed at it all
- "sorry i'm just calling it how i see it" katie said with her hands up
- "it's no problem youre not too bad yourself pego" i giggled. that seemed to break all the tension so i was super glad she said that.
- "um hey bub we shld head out" michael said taking my hand and lacing our fingers together.
- "alright! hey maybe we can all hang out sometime" i suggested to the girls
- "bett i'm down" katie eagerly said
- "for suree" eva said
- anna simply nodded. i was confused she looked upset over something. i wanted to ask what was up but michael was pulling me signaling for us to get going so i waved goodbye and began walking away but as i turned to see eva and katie were waving back i also noticed anna looking at me with sadness in her eyes and she immediately turned around and went upstairs. that hurt me i wanted desperately to ask if she was okay i even stopped walking, let go of michael's hand and turned back to go after her but michael pulled me back and put his arm over my shoulders so i would face forward. i don't know why i cared so much it just rlly pained me to see that she was upset abt something. i don't know my mind has been all types of fucked up ever since i came to LA that plane ride back looking real nice right abt now jkjk but fr i gotta get my priorities straight. right now i'm going on a date with michael. let's focus on that y/n. not anna. michael. as i finished my whole inner monologue i noticed we were already at the car. tell me why i was expecting michael to open my door for me how silly of me i forgot chivalry is dead with michael but with anna... omg no y/n stop thinking of anna. fuck. here comes the fucking headaches again. i quickly got into the car and buckled up and laid my head back.
- "are you okay?" michael asked
- "huh? um yeah i'm all good i just got my headaches again" i said massaging my temples
- "shit. where are your pills?" he frantically said
- "they're in my bag right her-" i noticed it was not with me
- "aw i left it in anna's room"
- "FUCK! REALLY?! HOW COULD YOU!!?" he lashed out at me
- wtf i've never seen him like this it's rlly scaring me. why is he getting so upset over pills?
- "it's okay michael i'm sure eva has some tylenol in her glove box" i said as i searched for some. "see right here"
- "NO NO YOU NEED YOUR PILLS"
- "these are the exact same ones as the ones in my bag though"
- "NO UM NO THESE ARE- THESE ARE EXPIRED JUST PLEASE"
- "MICHAEL! YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN! you're really scaring me these aren't even expired why are u making such a big deal out of this"
- he took a deep breath "please bebe please get your bag you're gonna need it anyways for all your essentials in there"
- well he switched up real quick i just nodded and got out the car and headed towards the house. did he care for my well being that much or did he get all worked up for another reason? looking back i don't remember us ever fighting. this was my first time seeing him like this. it definitely wasn't a pleasant experience seeing him like that. i knocked at the door and it opened almost instantly it was katie
- "oh you're back so soon? you ditch your boyfriend bc you liked me better huh?" she jokingly said
- "ha ha funny pego" i said sarcastically. "i just forgot my bag, can i come in and get it real quick?"
- "yeah for sure come on in" she said as she moved out the way directing me to enter
- "thanks" i said as i rushed right past her. if i keep michael waiting any longer i'm in for a longg night
- i ran past the kitchen said a quick "hi, bye" to eva leaving no time for her to respond and i headed upstairs to anna's room. i stopped at the door and remembered she was in a bad mood so i couldn't go busting in scaring her. i then slowly peaked in as i opened her door and i surveyed the room. i didn't see her so i walked in and went to grab my bag on her bed. just as i was about to grab my bag i heard crying. i turned to see anna leaning against the rails of her balcony with her hands to her face as tears rolled down her sleeves. my heart broke seeing her like that. i wouldn't be able to live with myself if i just left her... so i approached her
