Isla walked around the streets of Monaco with the newest addition to her family in a pram; Lara Verstappen. She and Max ended on good terms. Max was still in Lara's life (even thought it was rare) and he even found someone new, about two weeks after they broke up which stung back then, but now she didn't entirely care. Isla didn't have time to go out and party like Max did. She was a singer, she had a baby and she had her own house to look after so she didn't have all that much time for herself either. She of course still had her friends but they were young like her, so they tended to go out drinking and clubbing like Isla should have been doing if she hadn't had a baby. The sun shone bright in the Monaco sky as it reflected onto the beautiful sea below.

The Monaco Grand Prix was always special, you couldn't deny that. Isla was walking around the place waiting for Max to come and collect Lara since it was his turn to have her. Why are track walks always so bloody long? Isla's phone buzzed in her pocket, notifying her that she had a message. Isla took the phone out and sighed in frustration. Again? He bailed last minute again?

Isla called him and awaited him to pick up but of course, he declined her call. "Son of a bitch." she muttered, shoving the phone back into her pocket. "He always does this! Bastard!" Isla looked down at her sleeping baby and smiled. She looked so gorgeous, she reminded Isla of her own mother. The nose, the lips, almost every feature resembled her mother. Isla looked around for a cafe for a while, just to clear her mind at least and came across a newly opened place that she heard about from Alyssa, a good friend of hers so it was no surprise when Isla found her sitting looking out over the breathtaking view...okay maybe it was a little surprising. "Alyssa?" Isla asked.

The blonde turned around and set eyes upon Isla and a smile was plastered all over her face. Isla and Alyssa became friends a while back as they entered the music industry together. Rarely any fights happened but that was because Isla never confronted her friend about the things that happened, some very questionable things. "Isla! How are you?" She asked hugging Isla. "I'm doing good, just going on a walk with Lara." Isla replied looking back to the pram. "I thought it was Max's turn to take her?" Isla rolled her eyes and nodded. "It is but he's oh so busy and cancelled again. I know for a fact his track walk is finished because I literally walked by him about four times and I haven't seen him this time so he's finished. I just can't find the bastard."

Alyssa took Lara out of her pram and cooed and played with her. "So are you going to slap him or am I?" she asked Isla. Isla set her coffee down to the side and leaned forward. "I don't plan on wasting my time giving that man a slap so feel free." she chuckled. "Oh and his girlfriend now, she's being very...weird let's say." Alyssa looked at Isla confused. "How so?"

"She called me yesterday to hang out. Like, she's so nice I just find it a bit weird. I respect her a lot but why would anybody hang out with their current partner's ex? I don't get it." Isla laughed to herself. "Honestly, he really has good taste in women if not anything else." Alyssa said. "I think Dilara was alright. She seemed nice from what I've heard about her."

Alyssa returned to playing with Lara while Isla chose to look at the beautiful surroundings instead, starting with whoever just walked in. Isla couldn't put her finger on who he was but she definitely knew him from somewhere. She looked back at the people who was with him but that didn't narrow it down either. He must have been a mechanic or something. He was a good looking mechanic to say the least.

"Isla?" Isla looked over to Alyssa who was clearly annoyed about something and that something was answered quickly enough. She followed Alyssa's line of vision and spotted Max in the doorway. Max looked a bit shocked but then was suddenly innocent as he saw his daughter. "There's my little princess." He cooed going in to take Lara from Alyssa. "How have you been today? Did you miss daddy?"

"So what about that meeting you had on? The meeting you had to drop everything for?" Isla asked folding her arms across her chest. "It got cancelled so we came here to collect her." Max replied. "That's a lie. I told you I'd be at home when you were finished so you could collect her." Max was caught out, he was backed into a corner and he had no way out other than to start a fight. "Why can't you just believe me for once?" he asked. Isla slammed her fist on the table which got a few weird looks from the people around them. "You know why? Because you literally left me while I was pregnant and then got into a relationship not even two weeks later! I won't believe a word that comes out of your mouth for as long as you live Max Verstappen."

They all turned around when they heard a dinging , signifying a new person had come in and there she was. Kelly. Kelly was absolutely gorgeous from head to toe, inside and out or at least that's how it seemed. She was so lovely and the pair had talked about her before but then the breakup happened and let's just say things hadn't been the same since then. Kelly walked over and sat next to Max. "Hey Isla, how are you? You're looking good." Isla couldn't hate her, not even if she tried. That woman was just so...perfect and it kinda did things to her. "You look great too and I'm fine thanks. I was just talking to Max about him taking care of Lara tonight, since it's his turn." Max shot her a questioning look but Kelly didn't seem to mind one bit. "Oh that's perrfect. Penelope has someone to play with now." she chirped. Perfect. What did I tell you?

"Well then Max, I'll be leaving you with Lara as I have some important matters to attend to." Isla said grabbing her handbag and standing up. "Like what?" he almost scoffed. "Like going out tonight." Isla bentt down and placed a kiss onto heerr daughters head and walked out with Alyssa. Tonight was for her and for her only...
