ROSES POV

After class had ended, I got up after I packed my stuff in my bag. As I walked out of the class I bumped into someone. "Whoa. Watch where you're going." I said, annoyed. I looked up and saw a guy staring down at me. "Heh, sorry." He said before looking at me with a apologetic look and walking past as if he was in a hurry. I sighed, still clearly annoyed. Can people start having manners? I scoffed to myself before continuing walking.

When I arrived in my class most of the students were here. I went ahead and sat at the back near the window. Mostly because I can peacefully get lost in thought or have a little quick snack. After I had everything unpacked, pretty much everyone had arrived. Most of them were shouting, talking or laughing. I leaned against the wall and giggled to myself as I watched everyone. Even though I hated school, without it I would be depressed as fuck. And that's not a lie.

"Where's the teacher?" I muttered, looking at my phone real quick. It was 5 past 10. However, as though right on que, the door opened and everyone quieted down, almost like not wanting to get in trouble.

To our surprise a guy came into our class. As we continued to look, we saw him put his bags down onto the floor and started to log into the computer. Some of us shared confused glances between us, others kept staring. Who's he? A cover teacher? Honestly, I liked Mrs Parnell. She wasn't too strict and was young. Meaning she had a good sense of humour. Not that old people have a bad sense of humour I mean.

After he had done logging in, he stood up straight and looked at us all. Weirdly, he seemed familiar. " Good morning. " He said and looked at each and one of us. His eyes stopped at me for no more than a second longer than the rest before continuing. Oh. It was the guy I bumped into. What's the worse that can happen? After all, it was an accident. "My name is Mr Romero. As weird as that sounds, yes that is my name. " He chuckled. "Anyways, I'll be taking over for Mrs Parnell for a time being. Forgive me if I'll point at you and say ' you ' because as you know I don't know your names yet. However, please do tell me your name if I do point at you. " He smiled a bit. I could tell he was nervous. He had green or blue eyes from what I can remember. Kind of a semi-long hair type of look. A little bit of a 'forelock' covering his right eye. Though, you could still see the eye. And the colour of it? Dirty Blonde of course. He looked quite young. Though, he also just seemed lonely. He gave off the vibe that he wanted friends. Not sure if that's the reason he became a teacher. He wore a Dark Navy Blue suit along with a black tie. You could tell that he wanted to look good for this job. Which could also mean that he didn't want us to make fun of him. Though then again, there's more to a person than looks. I sighed, I needed to stop judging people.

DAMONS (MR ROMERO) POV

I looked at everyone. My eyes soon came across the girl that I bumped into earlier. She had Brown long hair, along with blue eyes that you could see from a distance. As I looked at her I unwillingly remembered her lips when we first met. I took my eyes away from her, knowing what I just did was insanely inappropriate, and continued to scan the class.

"Before we start the class, any questions?" To my surprise half of the class put their hands up. With a smile that I plastered on, I started pointing to everyone. "Uhm, You." I said and pointed at a random girl. "What's your name?" "Lily sir. May I ask, Where is Mrs Parnell?" "Mrs Parnell is on Holiday actually. In Turkey." I said. The rest of the questions were mostly boring. Some were about me however I decided not to answer them and simply moved on. At the end when I had answered everyone's question, I sighed.

Half way through class I asked a question; When was the first bullet made. Surprisingly Most of the class didn't put their hand up. The same students that keep putting their hand up for every question, of course, put their hands up. "You." I said, pointing at the girl that I bumped into earlier. She had been a bit too quiet throughout the class for my taste. She looked up at me and took her head off her arm. " What's your name?" She looked around, surprised that I picked on her. I smirked a bit, not knowing why. Once she met my eye again she said, "Rose." Rose. Interesting name. I like roses. "So... Rose. When was the first bullet invented?" Honestly, I'll be surprised if she gets this right. She leaned back into her chair, looking kind of confident. " 1826 I think. Though I might be wrong. " I heard a few girls snicker. I'm guessing they had a different answer and thought she was wrong. A smile grew on my face, impressed. "Believe it or not class, She's right." I said as I turned around and wrote ' 1826 ' and underlined it sharply on the whiteboard.

ROSES POV

After class had ended, I sighed with relief. I hated speaking in class. I'm even surprised that I knew that myself. "Rose!" I heard my name. It was Mr Romero again. I made my way to the front of the class after everyone had left. "What is it?" I asked. He got up from the chair and stood in front of me. He was quite big. At least bigger than me. "Would you mind staying in for break? I got some questions." I remembered that I had to meet with Tilly. But then again, I couldn't really refuse. "Sure." I said, even though I didn't want to.
