Family drama pt.2

"dad?" Josie and hope walks into Alaric's office.

"He's not here. Let's check the basement and garden" Hope walks to the door.

"Wait! Look. He left a note" Josie picks up a piece of paper.

"What does it say?" Hope walks over to josie.

"'Hey jo, I know your probably reading this note right now. I just want you to know I'll be home as soon as I can. Me, Lizzie and some other students went on a trip to visit your mother's friend. If you need anything, call me or lizzie. P.s stop sneaking into my office. Your dad, Alaric" Josie gives hope the note and sighs.

"Great. Your dad is gone, so is lizzie and a few other people. Why did they leave?" Hope groans and sits on the desk.

"Who knows? Whatever the reason is, it has to be important if he left me." Josie walks around the room

"Well who did he put in charge?" Hope asks

"Dunno. It didn't say" Josie shrugs.

The girls hear a knock on Alaric's door and walks over to answer it. Behind the door is a beautiful woman.

"Hello. Are you Hope Mikaelson and Josie saltzman?" The woman asks and they nod.

"Well I'm Elena Gilbert, also known as Caroline's best friend." Elena walks into the office.

"What are you doing here?" Hope asks.

"Your dad told me to take care of the school while he's away" Elena says and josie nods.

"Well, welcome to the school" Hope smiles and elena also smiles.

"Thank you. Who else goes to this school?" Elena turns to them.

"Alot of other people" Josie says.

"So this school allows different species?" Elena raises an eyebrow.

"Yep! Wereolves, vampires, witches, etc." Hope sits.

"I've only ever heard a little bit about this school and it's students. Its more interesting than I thought" Elena sits at Alaric's desk.

"Well,we welcome you with open arms but we have to figure out something important. We'll see later Mrs.Gilbert" Josie waves and leaves with hope

"Bye" Elena also waves.

"Since my dad and sister thought it would be a good idea to leave us, we have to do this in our own." Josie sighs as the girls walk to the lounge.

"Yep. It'll be easy. We have more clues and magic" Hope sits on a couch along with josie.

"True but it's going to take alot of magic to stop it " Josie groans.

"Are you worried?" Hope looks at josie with a frown.

"Of cours I am. What if I kill lizzie? Or what if she kills me? My dad won't have a daughter and you won't have a girlfriend." Josie says with a sad expression.

"Yeah but that's if we don't find a way to stop the merge" Hope holds josie's hand.

"I guess...I just don't want to make anyone sad" Josie holds hope's hand.

"You won't make anyone sad jo. Plus, we are powerful as a team so there's always hope" Hope adds and josie nods with a smile

"Oh hi again" Bree appears on front of the two.
