(Inspired by Sweater Weather by The Neighbourhood)
"GAHHHHHHH!! I CANT BELIEVE WE'RE HERE!! HURRY UP GUYS!" A small boy ran down the hill.
His smile growing bigger once his feet touched the warm sand.
The beach... a beautiful and natural place where the ocean's waves make a small tune that can get addictive. The innate colors that paint themselves on the sky and water are such inspiration for any artist. The fresh sent intoxicating the area with such relaxation that it's hard to leave the odor that over fills the mind. An amazing and unique natural landscape that so many people would love to be in....
Just not Yoongi.
"You brought me from New York all the way to California just for this?" He asked plopping down onto the sand already.
"It's not that bad, Jungkook loves it here."
"Yea, Jungkook. I'm not Jungkook."
"Dude, don't throw a tantrum here. Do that later."
"Fuck you."
"I love you too."
Yoongi rolled his eyes and got up again, wiping the sand off his shorts and the rim of his sweater. His oversized sweater that reached the middle of his thighs. Different shades of grey with rips all over the place. His shorts were somewhat similar to what you classify as booty shorts, but just an inch or so longer and high waist. He didn't like them as it exposed his thin pale legs. Which really drove his boyfriend crazy.
His boyfriend being Jung Hoseok. Who was somewhat similar but the opposite of him. They traveled around New York and California because of family, but really California was his place. The beach, the heat, the food, the everything. It was just so him, just not Yoongi. Who liked New York during winter.
"GUYYYYSSSS!!!! WANNA COME INTO THE WATER WITH ME?" Jungkook shouted from the shore line.
"No." "Yes."
The two boys looked at each other and sighed.
"You can't come to California just to sleep anymore, you're going to do something productive today." Hoseok pulled him up and held onto his hand.
"Never. Let me go. I'm not going into the water. That's not productive." Yoongi scoffed, letting himself get dragged down.
"Come." Hoseok said, letting him piggyback ride him.
Yoongi without hesitation jumped onto his back, and rested his head on his shoulder.
"Just don't expect me to wake up tomorrow at all."
Jungkook laughed innocently as he ran into the small waves. His hands making a mess with the water. Yoongi hopped off once they were close to the shore and walked by himself.
"I don't wanna get my sweater wet tho." He shouted an excuse again.
"Then take it off."
"No!"
"Come on it's not like I haven't seen you without it before."
"Shut up!"
Yoongi's cheeks went hot, leaving a pink trace behind. He took in a deep breath and walked again. His feet burying into the wet sand under the water.
"I prefer the pool way better." Yoongi rolled his eyes as he reached out to grab Hoseok's hand.
"Then we're going there later."
Hoseok pulled him to his side and smiled. Yoongi gripped onto his arm, when he suddenly got pushed away. Falling straight to the water. He let out a quiet and short Yelp before splashing the liquid all over the place. He looked up to see Jungkook giggling childishly at him.
"You little-"
"Ahhhh no! HOSEOKIE! Help meeee!" He yelled out hiding behind the older.
Hoseok laughed and ran away with Jungkook, as Yoongi followed them tripping now and then. Trying to catch them.
"Hobi I thought you were on my side!" Yoongi pouted falling one last time.
He stood there and crossed his arms, Jungkook running out the water and laughing. Hoseok just laughed his way back to Yoongi. Only laughing more when he reached and the small boy jumped onto him angrily.
"You're so mean, I thought you were supposed to help me. I am now angry with you. Don't talk to me until you bring me Jungkook..." He splashed water onto his face as much as he could. "And until you give me a kiss."
He turned away and walked far, but not far to leave Hoseok's reach. The younger pulled him back effortlessly and let out a breathy chuckle.
"I can do that." His lips dented slightly at the edges and reached down to leave a small peck on the older's lips.
"Ewww no! I'm still right here you guys!" Jungkook shouted jokingly at them.
Crossing his arms over his chest and waiting for them to come out too.
"We should probably go somewhere where we're alone first." Hoseok laughed not for the last time that day and dragged his boyfriend with him.
"The pool!"
2 hours passed by, Jungkook eating and playing and resting and swimming and watching. All he loves to do at the beach. It was the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. He couldn't give up his chance.
"I'm gonna head back up to the hotel room, tomorrow we're going to see my brother." The youngest stood up.
He waved goodbye at the boys and walked off. Yoongi waved back, and smiled at Hoseok.
"I don't understand how you love seeing the sunset." Yoongi commented as he looked back out at the setting sun.
"What do you mean?"
"I don't like it. Because I prefer to see you fall asleep or wake up. Those are my sunsets and sunrises." The boy again spoke resting his head on the taller's shoulder.
"Please tell me I'm not hearing things." Hoseok smiled.
"You're not." The older blushed.
Yoongi looked up and signaled the younger for a kiss. Which wasn't denied. Their lips touched, fitting in perfectly with the other's. They moved in zinc little by little, not wasting the opportunity of having a small good moment to remember. Since this was like the 2nd time Yoongi came to the beach. Yoongi gently placed his hands on Hobi's neck, earning the same gesture.
"Can we go to the pool now?" Yoongi giggled, pulling away leisurely.
Their foreheads were still touching, Yoongi's arms wrapped around his neck, and lips slightly parted. Hoseok smiled once again and once again kissed his lips.
"Let's go then."
Yoongi stood up and looked back at Hoseok, waiting for him to get up as well. He held his hand out, not being able to keep his sweater paws out of the way. Hoseok's chuckled ringed in his ears, making him feel loved once more.
"I still can't believe you're not hot with that sweater on."
"No Im actually cold, specially because it now has water in it."
"I told you to not come in a sweater."
"But it's too cold."
"It's too cold for you, I'm totally ok."
"It's always sweater weather for me." Yoongi shrugged.
They walked slowly, joking around with each other. Heading towards the hotel backside where the pool was.
