Chapter Two 'Ophelia's Path'

I grab my sword and let the girl get up the tree while I fend off the wolves. Soon come running Peter pointing his blade at the first wolf not taking his eyes off the second. I slash at the second one. He runs away but the leader is still there growling at Peter. Aslan walks up and commands me to put down my blade.

"This is Peter's fight," he says to me and Milo.

We put our swords down. Peter lets the wolf run. Soon I hear some leaves crunching behind me. I turn to see Susan and Lucy getting down from the tree. Lucy runs to Peter

. They hug for a good minute. Soon Peter gets up and hugs Susan. I was happy, they could hug even if we are going to war or it's a hard time. Finally, Milo and everyone else ran after the wolf. But, Peter was on his knee with his sword in his hand propping him up.

"Rise son of Adam, Knight of Narnia, Sir Silver-tooth," Aslan said.

We all smiled Susan, Lucy and me. It was uncommon for Aslan to give Son of Adam such an honor. As soon as he was done, we walked back.

That later afternoon Susan, Lucy and I went to read and play somewhere. I walked up to a tree I usually am in. I bow to the tree.

"Lady blossom may my friends and I, play and read in your branches," I say in a voice that sounds as though I'm in the eighteenth century.

I pick up my bow and walk to Susan and Lucy. I moved Lucy to a spot that I knew too well. And Susan to her own spot. With a wish through the air. I Looked up to the great oak. Suddenly I heard a bit of giggling and screaming. The branches picked them up and helped them to the center of the tree. The tree naturally had a bit of a center when I found it, "Lady Susan daughter of Eve and Lady Lucy's second daughter of Eve," I said bowing once more to the tree and the girls," Welcome to Ophelia's path."

They turned to me like I was crazy.

"Oh Cora, it's beautiful," Lucy says.

I smile looking at her. I watch as a branch lower for me. The winds starts to pick up to show the leave in the shape of a woman know as Lady blossom appears. She smirks at me. The branch picks me up and throws me in the air. I heard Susan scream. The branch caught me and let me down gently. The view from the tree was all the way to the ocean.

Soon The Tree nymphs joined us as well as the flower nymphs and river. That tree was big and the nymphs and us filled it.

"Your so beautiful with the flower in your hair," Susan said.

I looked at her and smiled. She had only been her for a day or so not seeing all the beauty of Narnia.

"Why, thank you," Lilith said to her.

Lilith was a flower fairy and strong one at that. It was interesting seeing her light pink cherry petal form around her body. Some water Nymphs were doing Lucy's hair. I was talking with the tree nymphs but broken out of it.

"Have you practiced lately Cora," a Sea Nymph asked me.

I looked at her shocked at what she was asking me. "Have you Cora," Lilith asked me.

"Practiced what," Lucy and Susan said together.
