In love with a Vampire

Nightmare

The day passed by without much activity and Jimin was still scared of Kimsung who didn't talk with him. Both were feeling awkward after the incident.

Kimsung was mentally blaming herself for being so rude towards Jimin. Jimin kept his distance from Kimsung, not wanting to get in her way. Jimin had skipped a delecious rabbit meat  lunch because he was still shook.

Soon it became dark and the beutiful forest sounds in the morning completely changed to howls and creepy whispers at night. Kimsung again went to the forest to search for food and Jimin didn't dare touch anything.

He was feeling a bit down though. Kimsung was taking such good care of Jimin and he hasn't done anything for her despite kimsung saving his life 2 times and giving him food and protection. He felt guilty for not doing anything and just staying in one place and Kimsung had to do all the stuff.

But he was wounded badly so he didn't have any choice. jimin was also mentally blaming himself for not doing anything other than staying in one place. He hated it.

Then he got an idea. He mustered up his strength and tidied up the cave a bit and built a fire so when Kimsung arrive all she has to do is cook it. Jimin took a pile of wood and lit it up making a fire. Not long after, Kimsung arrived with a dead wolf around her neck. A small smile spread across the vampire's face after noticing the fire and the neat cave.

Seeing Kimsung smile atlast made Jimin happy and he also smiled . He was feeling better and his wound was almost healed but it still hurt internally.

"where'd u find all these wolves?"Jimin asked slowly,wanting to start a communication with Kimsung. Kimsung placed the dead body of the wolf on the fire and smiled at Jimin,"There is a small wolf pack near the river which is not far from here. About 10 kilometers away.. When they are asleep I take one of the and kill it and carry it back here".

Jimin looked confused ,"wait what? 10 Kilometers!? But you come so quickly....".he pointed out. Kimsung let out a small laugh,"I'm a vampire. Remember? I am way more faster than you humans",Kimsung explained. And Jimin playfully slapped his forehead with a look of realization.

After eating the delecious wolf meat cooed by Kimsung with a little help from Jimin, both said there good nights nd went to sleep. Jimin fell asleep soon. But Kimsung felt a bit troubled and she didn't know why. She tossed this side and that side before she finally fell asleep but she couldn't have a proper sleep.

She had a horrible nightmare. It was the same reccuring nightmare she had even when she was small; she was in the middle of a fire. Fire was the last thing any vampire wanted to deal with because the hotness is unbearable. A small fire like a campfire is fine. But big fires burn the Vampires. And if stayed in the fire too long they will burn to death. Their skin slowly burning away and the agony.

In the nightmare, Kimsung had run into a building which was burning to save the people inside. She managed to save all the people's lives but her own. Helplessly she falls on the ground and she slowly burns to death screaming in agony but no one can hear or help her.

But that night, after she fell on the ground she feels a hand on her wrist. she then woke up out of her nightmare and she felt something holding her hand. When she looked she saw Jimin holding her hands with both of his hands and looking very worried.

kimsung was covered in sweat and her eyes almost bulging out in fear. Before she knew it she was sobbing uncontrollably.

Jimin then moved towards Kimsung and hugged her and took her near her , wrapping his arms around her. "There there. Hey don't cry", jimin said in a comforting voice.

Jimin then looked at Kimsung who was crying and tears falling down her cheeks. Jimin cupped her face softly with his hands and with a circular motion of his thumbs he wiped away the tears .

Jimin then embraced Kimsung in a warm hug and layed down while still hugging Kimsung and they both finally fell asleep while Jimin hugged Kimsung. Jimin didn't sleep until he was sure Kimsung has fallen asleep.

With the warm hug and the warmth radiating from Jimin's body, Kimsung finally fell into a deep and comfortable sleep. It was a long time since she felt so safe and relaxed.
