Marco's POV

I wake up earlier then I wanted to from a strange dream. I don't really remember but I can say it was weird, maybe it'll come to me later. Rolling out of bed I stumble across my room getting ready after brushing my teeth I go out the door leading to Stars room. "Hey Star wake up" she doesn't budge. "HEY WAKE UP IT IS MORNING!" unsurprisingly yelling didn't work either. I walked back into the bathroom and pored water into my hands, carefully walking into stars room again I drop the water on her face instantly waking her up."MARCO TGE HECK!" Star was annoyed but I had completed my mission. "Good morning sleeping beauty" I say sarcastically rolling my eyes. "Is that pancakes I smell?" brushing off my sarcasm star immediately moved on to the topic of food. "I swear Star your soulmate is food" "Marco what are we even doing upstairs they might get cold!" She didn't hear me and if she did the only word she understood was food. We walked down the stairs or rather I walked down the stairs Star ran. We got to the pancakes and right when star sat down she was already  eating the food. "Nothing gets in the the way of star and her pancakes" sitting down to a table where she had already eaten the first pancake. "Yeah, you got that right and you better remember it" she said raising her fork at me as if it were her weapon. "I got it so will you put down the fork" she started to lower her fork "I will not put down the fork for I will be eating these delicious pancakes with them." Eating only a third of the pancakes my mom kindly made for us we went back upstairs to think of what to wear to the blood moon ball.
Opening the door we see something rising up towards the balcony, it was a carriage. "Oh come on, Star you have a visitor" neither of us was amused by uninvited guest who was about to step out the carriage. Tom, walked out of his carriage and onto the balcony. "Hey starship" Tom completely ignored me and went straight to trying to talk to star. "What do you want Tom?" We asked annoyed "well you see I came here to formally invite star to the blood moon ball." Tom trying to get back star again "I am sorry Tom but I am already going with Marco" Star said probably not thinking that I might be killed because of those words. "Of could've just as friends" I nervously laugh not wanting Tom to end me for thinking I was dating star. "But starship I've really changed, no improved changed isn't really the right word" Tom started to talk nervously which kinda makes me feel bad for him "have you really improved that much Tom" Star was skeptical but wanted to believe him. "Let me show you at the blood moon ball" tom said still trying to get star to go with him "I said I'm going with Marco, but I have an idea" Star starts "Star think carefully about this idea" I said worried still about my life. "We should all go together, then Tom can prove himself and I'll spend time with my best friend! It's a win win" she was excited by this idea "it maybe a win win for you but what about us" Tom hates me I think she is forgetting that. "Think of it as a chance to bond and get to know each other" she seemed like her heart was set on this "I guess this will be the best I can get, so why not" Tom sighed and agreed? Wait what is going on right now? "Um what?" Confused I look at both of them, Star seeming more excited and Tom looked surprisingly chill. "I guess I'll pick you up at 7 you both better be ready" Tom said to both of us. "Okay we got it see you later" Star said waving bye to Tom. "WHAT ON EARTH JUST HAPPENED?" "Calm down Marco we just made our party bigger" Star said like she was unfazed by this as if nothing ever happened. "By inviting YOUR EX who NEVER GOT OVER YOU and tried to KILL ME that still HATES ME!" Emphasizing on key words to make her understand better. "Yeah so? We can still be friends plus he said he improved right? All we can do is trust him, you know like a second chance." She must have forgotten that this would be past a second chance "also it would be entertaining dont you think" yeah if you find my suffering entertaining. I can't believe that I'm going to an event with my best friend with her ex who hates me and they are cool with it, things can't get more confusing then this. It's almost like the blood moon hates me.
