Hey there! A bit of an explanation before you continue reading! First of all, I'm very sorry for the lack of updates on my stories lately – been super busy with school work and *drum roll, please* A NEW STORY! Oh yeah.

Basically, I've been quite consumed by this new story I'm writing, which I will start publishing as soon as possible (as soon as I come up with a name for it). Basically, it's set in the Marauders' era – it is the story of Regulus Arcturus Black, from his early childhood up to his young adulthood. And I'm going to say this now, having already written quite a lot of it, I AM PROUD. I honestly love the story, if I do say so myself, and hopefully you'll check it out once... well, once it's out.

Now, back to this story. Again, sorry for being so quiet lately – I've had a bit of a writer's block with this story for some time now, and you will see that this chapter goes forward in a bit of a rush. That's simply because I want this story to move ahead, so just beware and don't hate me heheh. But I promise it's going to get better and have a bit more of a plot from now on! (Maybe. If I come up with a plot.)

Anyway, enough of rambling, hope you enjoy this new chapter of the story I literally haven't updated for a month. Sorry.

:)

As agreed, exam revision begun right after the prank was over – I had to practically drag the boys into the library most days. Oliver retreated to study with his friends (they had their NEWTs ahead of them, after all), so me and the twins took over one table at the far corner of the library and practically lived there until the exams were over.

It was mid-June when we'd finally completed all our VIPs – thank Godric.

"How'd you do?" Fred grinned as we made our way back to the common room from the Great Hall. Transfiguration had been our last VIP, and now we were finally free.

"Good, I think, but let's not talk about school, okay?" I smirked, then looked out the window: "Can we go to the lake? It looks beautiful outside!"

"Sure", George shrugged: "Don't have much else to do, do we?"

"Well, now that you mentioned it..." I flashed them an angelic smile: "It's never too early to start preparing for NE–"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence", Fred slapped his hand over my mouth. I shook him off, laughing.

"I'm joking, I'm joking..."

"Never know with you, these days..." George shook his head solemnly.

"Shut up."

We stopped by the dorms to drop our school things and change into some more weather-appropriate gear before heading outside – it was the hottest day of the year so far, and I wanted to get a head start with my UV-intake.

"You're going to burn yourself", Fred pointed out as I rolled the sleeves of my t-shirt up and lowered onto my back on the grass, soaking in the sunlight.

"Sunscreen, big-brain", I mumbled, covering my eyes with my arm to block the rays: "And we're in Scotland, I don't think we need to worry about sunburns."

The lakeshore started to gradually fill up with students, as everyone finished their exams – either the VIPs, the NEWTs or just mandatory course exams. Finally, Oliver joined us with Lewis and the others.

"Look at you acting like you're on vacation", Oliver came to stand over me, grinning down. I poked my tongue out and hoisted myself up to standing.
