"Wake up Jess! You're going to miss the bus!" My mother screeches as she nudges me in the shoulder.
"Yeah. Okay. One more minute..." I manage to say before drifting off to sleep.
"WAKE UP!!!" My mom screams in frustration again as she rips off my warm sheets wrapped around my body. My reaction must be bad since my mom soon shows sympathy in her eyes.
"Okay, okay!" I find my way through my warm bed sheets and place both of my bare feet on the carpeted floor of my room. My mother has her arms crossed and shakes her head, giggling.
"You are difficult, little miss!" Mom says, jokingly as she walks away out of my bedroom door. The door closes and I sink back into bed, sighing. I know what to expect...high school. With its judgmental clicks, obnoxious jocks, and more. With every negative, there are some positives. There are some great things about high school too.
