Cancer - Jesy (Part 2)

You are rushed into hospital. Jade is sat with Jesy while they awaited the news. Both are trying to calm each other down, but they are also trying to calm themselves down.

"Yn Yln?" A doctor appears and the girls immediately stand up.

"Yn's lung has collapsed due to the cancer. We have managed to stabilize her for now however."

"Cancer? What cancer?"

"She didn't tell you? Miss Yln was diagnosed with lung cancer around 4 months ago."

Both of the girls' hearts shatter. Not only have you got cancer, but you hid it from them. The fact that you hid it for 4 months just made it worse. Jesy was hurt that you didn't tell her for that long. Now, she thinks you don't trust her. You do trust her, you just didn't want to worry her. You thought that if she didn't know, it would be better. Because you are in such great shape, you thought it would pass and you wouldn't be affected. You were planning on telling her, but you wanted to do it once you beat it. Now, you don't even know if you will beat it... 

The girls go to see you and their hearts break even more (if it is even possible). You are lying in the bed with an oxygen mask covering your mouth and nose. You aren't moving, apart from the slight movement of your chest moving up and down from the small breaths you take. Jesy rushes to your side and takes your hand in hers. 

"Please be okay, I couldn't live without you." Your eyes flicker open. It takes a moment for your eyes to adjust to the light, but when they do, you see Jesy sitting next to you with tears streaming down her face. Jade was in a similar state, but she was still standing at the door, paralysed with shock. You reach to take the oxygen mask off but Jesy grabs your hand and stops you because it is helping you to breathe. 

"Why didn't you tell us? About the Cancer? We could have...done something!" 

"I didn't want you to worry, I thought it would interrupt your careers." Your voice was hoarse and it hurt to speak, but you tried your hardest not to show it. 

"You are more important than my career. I would stop the world for you, I love you and nothing will change that." You both smile but at that moment, your chest feels tight and you can't breathe again. You and Jesy look at each other with fear in your eyes. The machines around you beep and several doctors rush in but once again, everything goes black...
