Chapter 4 - The memorable Slytherin Party

INTRODUCTION:

Chapter 4:

I made my way out the hall, down into the dungeons, through the Slytherin Common Room and into the girls part of the dorms. I stood in front the pine tree door that creaked with any sudden moment. I was home, my dorm room was more comforting than my room at home. Our family history is what some may call a Legacy - our family are Pureblood's, meaning we are quite up in the importance scale of wizarding families and so my sister and I got granted with private rooms. In the middle was a black queen sized bed dressed with emerald green silk sheets and matte finished pillows. Two massive windows looking out onto the black lake, an en suite bathroom which had black marble tiling, a shower and a bath, and then there was my closest, my favorite part about my room - it was a walk in and always smelled of Coconut from my muggle perfume. Money wasn't an issue for my family and so the closet was decorated with fine pieces of clothing: dresses, sweaters, jeans, skirts, blouses, even some lingerie that Pansy and I had bought together - I had it all and I had always a massive amount of appreciation and gratefulness.

I jumped into a steamy hot shower, shaved my body and used my lavender and rose scent body wash all over. I was so exhausted from the trip that I slipped into an oversized shirt and fell straight asleep.

I always woke up earlier than the school, the light coming outside the extensively large windows behind me always shone beams of orange light. Another thing I loved about this room, I could sit out and watch the exquisite scenery while reading or studying for hours on end.

The clock on the wall read exactly 7:30am. "and a hour and a half till breakfast, just like me to always be on time" I scoffed to myself annoyed at the thought of what I was going to do next to pass the time.

"P" I thought to myself, I hadn't seen my sister since last night and I was still itching to find out the incident that troubled her and Malfoy. I quickly scrambled to get changed, I threw on my school shirt, my Slytherin jumper and my skirt before quickly heading to her dorm room. I did our secret knock to signify our entrance and a ruffled looking Pansy came rushing to the door. She hadn't slept, I could see it in her eyes. She had massive bags under them and they were bright red - she had obviously been crying.

"P ! What's wrong ?? You look awful !" I said. "Come on let's sit down and chat" .She took a deep sigh before I grabbed her hand and we both fell into her bed.

"I know I look awful Aria, you don't need to point it out" she laughed trying to make light of the situation. "P, I know something is wrong, please do tell me. You know I'm here for you always" I reached out my pinky signaling our traditional pinky promise.

She took once last deep sigh before muttering some words softly. "What was that ??" I said, struggling to make of what she had said.

"Okay fine ! But A, you cannot tell Draco nor can you act on this because I know he's just being foolish and playing the jokester"
"I promise"
"Okay. Yesterday when we had all apparated to Kings Cross Draco pulled me aside while leaving you to go onto the train. Aria, I almost chocked on my water at what he said, as well I'm bloody angry and irritated"

My mind was wondering... What on earth could Draco have told her ?!

"A, Draco said that he-" she struggled to finish her sentence. "SPIT IT OUT P !" I yelled out.

"He said he has gained some feelings towards you ! And not the loving sister & brother type ones". My mouth hung open and my mind started racing. Draco Malfoy has feelings for me ?! Me ??? I couldn't believe it but I quickly turned my excitement into laughter so Pansy wouldn't suspect anything. "Oh well that's ridiculous. Absolutely foolish and ridiculous" I said while still laughing. "Aria you cannot tell him I told you, he threatened me last night and I'm scared of what he might do" Pansy said.
