Your breath was outta control. Your head was so dizzy, so achey. It made everything seem like a dream. Feet were pounding. They used to be yours, but it felt like you were flying now. But you couldn't stop flying. And you would fly until you died. But you wanted to die. You could hear your mother. She was screaming, crying, pleading. You tried to reach out to her. But she was farther away now. It was hurting. She was hurting. You tried. You had been so strong these years, and now that he was gone, you break down? Pathetic! But blood was rushing from your hands, soaking your clothing, and muffling your thoughts. As you look up, what you thought was your final time looking at the red sky, you saw a face. A familiar face. Who was that?
Karkat! He was here! But her looked so hurt, so in pain. His eyes were bubbling down big, red tears. Red? His skin was grey. His figure swayed back and forth, before disappearing. Your vision was spiraling down, going faster and faster.
Until all you saw was black. A black background with bright green circles. But they didn't look like one curl. Wavy and spiraling circles, going on top of eachother. Forming a beautiful, but untrustful, shape. And as you fell, deeper and darker, a voice boomed overhead. The words bring chills to your skin, as you violently awaken from your sleep
"wOAH, Y/N, aRE YOU ALL RIGHT? y-yoU WERE HAVING A NIGHTMARE, so mE AND JADE CHECKED ON YOU." The boy with very worried expression on his face was Tavros. From the moment you saw him, you had to admit, he was just a tiny bit cute. Jade stood next to him, with a glass of water in one hand and get other hand on your bed. She smiled a worried smile as you looked all around the room. Where were you? You sure don't remember coming to this house at all. Maybe you were on the hospital still? Your head hurt like hell, and you were still trying to make sense of your dream. What did that voice say? You couldn't remember. But it scared you no matter what.
"Here, have some water. It's been a long time sines you knew what was going on. We need to talk to you." She told you as you took drinks of water. "We found your uncle, he isn't anywhere near you again. You've been asleep for like, 15 hours, but they said your injuries are worse than they expected. You will need at least 2 weeks of healing time. It might be a couple of days until you begin walking." You were more than thankful that someone was actually taking to you, AND explaining something to you. When she finished, you sat the glass down on the table next to you and looked up at her.
"Jade, quick question, but you said I left the hospital... Where am I?" Tavros nodded his head and answered for her.
"wELCOME TO THE mAIN HOUSE." He told you. "mOST OF THE PEOPLE LIVE HERE, bUT THERE ARE SOME EXECPTIONS. buT EVERYONE COMES hERE ALOT." Ah, you understood much more now. All these people, Gamzee, Feferi, Eridan, Sollux, Karkat, Dave, they all must be pretty close friends and families. So, they probably have their own houses, but this is the main house. "But, I REALLY hope this isn't rude, but why am I in the main house?" You asked, and Jade picked up a toothy grin on her face. "We said we would protect you like you were our family! And here, we don't break promises." Tavros nodded. "We'll be right back to bring you breakfast. Is strawberry cereal and apple juice ok?" And your mood lightened once more. It had been months since you had a proper meal. And now you were surrounded by people that care, understood, and wanted you safe. And your uncle was never coming back! All you wanted now was to figure out what the voice in your dream said....
You were so close to figuring it out when Dave knocked on your door. "Come in!" You said, and Dave pushed through, wearing his shades as usual. "Hey, Y/N, how are you feeling? A lot to take in on the first day?" Putting down a tray of food and sitting next to you. "I'm just happy to be out and alive with all of you." You replied, honestly. But as he talked, your mind was remembering what the man in your dream had said. It started with an s, and it was just one word.....

And it hit you. It was like you had just been stabbed multiple times with a dull knife. That word, where have you heard it before? And why was it doing this to you? You looked at Dave. He had worry on his face.
"Y/N, are you ok?" But you weren't. You grabbed the collar of his shirt, bringing his face close to yours.
"Dave, tell me something right now; what is SBURB?"
