I was getting ready for Divi and Hrithik's engagement. Yes I didn't confess anything to him. I couldn't do . Divi she would be so hurt. If I can't sacrifice for her then I shouldn't call myself her besto even if it means to sacrifice my feelings for Hrithik.. not only me Rohan ,he is also not happy but still he hides his sadness skillfully. I heard a knock on my door .
Asmita "Beta ( used as an affectionate word for addressing children) ready?" I asked.
Niharika "Yes Maa. I am coming. " I said applying my perfume.
Asmita "Ok . Me and Papa are waiting downstairs." I said.
Niharika "Ok Maa."I said taking a last look of myself in the mirror. I went downstairs. "I am ready." I said and Maa and Papa looked at me. "How do I look?" I asked.
Ashok "Bahut sundar ( very beautiful) . " I said kissing her forehead. "But something is missing." I said scanning her face.
Niharika " Kya ( What ) Papa?" I asked.
Ashok "Your happiness. Is everything alright dear?" I asked.
Niharika "Yes Papa. Everything is fine. I am happy it's Divi's engagement." I said hugging him. Everything is fine except I am feeling my heart breaking.
Asmita " Ho gaya dono ka ( Are you both done)? Then let's leave or we will be late." I said correcting my saree .
Ashok "She is jealous." I whispered in Niharika's ears. She giggled.
Asmita "I heard it. I will talk to you both later when we return." I said walking out and them following me.

I dialled Rohan's number. He received it in the second ring.
Niharika "Ro where are you?" I asked.
Rohan "On my way. Will reach there in about 15 minutes. What about you?" I asked.
Niharika "All ready reached. Ro ..are you fine?" I spoke softly.
Rohan "Not a bit . Bit it's okay. Okay I will talk to you later." I said. I said disconnecting the call and diverting my attention to driving.
Asha " Is everything fine dear?" I asked.

After the call I entered inside Divi's room after knocking while Maa and Papa stayed behind with Uncle and Aunty . Hrithik's family hadn't arrived yet.
