In Love With My Best Friend's Fiancè

At the Srivastava House

Niharika "Maa - Papa . I am ready . " shouted and jumped from two stairs to the ground . And knocked my parents rooms and entered . "Wohoo lovely couple .. looking heavenly ." I said and they both laughed . I jumped on the bed .

Asmita "Careful dear . You will ruin your clothes . " I said her and applied my mascara.

Niharika "Maa chill . " I said and started using my phone .

Ashok "Beta please help me to tie this tie. " I said Niharika.

Niharika "Coming Papa." I said and got off the bed . My phone rang and guess what ? The caller id flashed the name that called me today for 20 times in a row in the last 5 hours . Mr. Smoothie . I received the call and placed the phone between my ear and shoulder. I went to Papa and started to tie his tie. "Speak." I said him on the call .

Hrithik "When are you coming?" I asked her.

Niharika "Smoothie..." I roared and got a glare from Maa and Papa chuckled . I changed my tone into a polite one and said . "I mean Hrithik .. we are just about to leave . Will be there in around 40 to 50 minutes. " I said him .

Hrithik "Hurry up . The party is about to start. " I said her . I wanted her to come soon and even she promised me after she handled all the food arrangements today but now the party is almost about to start. Still no sign of her. Divya arrived with Uncle and Aunty a while ago and Rohan too arrived with Aunty .All the guest were almost there but Biryani still didn't grace us with her arrival .

Niharika "If you would take the pleasure to disconnect the call then only I can hurry up . " I said him . I finished to tie ing Papa's tie. And Maa glared at me for my irritated words I used for him.

Hrithik "Come Soon...... " I said and after a pause I don't know what my heart felt I continued "I am waiting ..." I said her.

Niharika " I will be there soon... ". I don't know what his soft tone and three words 'I am waiting...' did to me . As if my heart skipped a bit and I replied him 'I will be there soon ...' . I felt like his words conveyed me that he will be waiting for me in his life . I had no idea why was I feeling this way. My heart was filled with bliss. My reply was if as if I was assuring him that I will be in his life soon but I was caught off-guard by my mind. 'Niharika he is your bestfriend's fiancè.' My mind mocked me.

Hrithik "Bye .. " I said her .I don't know what happened to me . My 'I am waiting..' sounded like i was waiting for her in my life to grace it . Her voice soften as she replied me 'I will be there soon ...' . I felt that she was assuring me that she will come soon in my life for me .

Niharika "Bye .. " I said and disconnected and Maa lashed out .

Asmita "Niharika why don't you talk to him properly ? It's very rude . He is your bestfriend's fiancè . You shouldn't talk rudely to him . Moreover you are friends now .So talk to him like you talk to Rohan , Divya and with your other friends ." I said her .

Ashok " Yes Beta . I totally agree with your Maa. He always talks to you nicely . You should too. " I said her .

Niharika "He irritates me a lot. " I said them. "It is his 21st call in a row that I have received within the last 5 hours . " I said them. " He has a habit of calling me at the wrong time ." I said them.

Ashok "Beta whatever it is . He is a nice guy. You should talk to him properly . You should always look up on him as you look up on Rohan and Divya. He is your friend too. " I explained her.

Asmita "Yes Niha .. Talk to him properly. " I said her.

Niharika "Fine Maa and Papa . Now let's leave or we will be late." I said them and we left . I received Ro's call and I talked to him and Divi and informed them I will be there soon. Finally we reached . And not to forget my parents new favourite person aka Mr. Smoothie called me two times more and I responded to him politely all thanks to my parents .
