Happy New Year people!!!!

It was dress shopping day. Obviously, everyone wanted to be there. But the tiny dress shop was..well tiny. So Catherine, Jane, Alisa, Kitty, Lizzie, Mae, Cathy, Angel, and Mary were piled into two cars and driving to the cute little dress shop where Mary had seen a couple beautiful dresses when she went out the other day.

The employee who was helping them was a kind 20 year old woman named Bella. Bella's family owned the dress shop, and each dress was unique and handmade by either her, her mother, her sister, her grandmother, and her great grandmother.

First it was Mae's turn because she was already getting sleepy from being in the car. Cathy had come along to take her home early after her dress fitting.

Mae tried on two little dresses. A lavender one and a baby blue one. Everyone thought she looked absolutely adorable in the lavender one, and Bella even found a cute lavender bow to match for her hair.

Cathy tried to take her home but Mae pushed her mother away and said, "Mama I want to see pwetty desses." So they pulled up a chair and Mae settled into her mother's lap to watch the bridesmaids get their dresses that Mary picked online fitted.

It would fit the color schemes Philip and Mary decided on. They were getting married at the Lyric, on the set of SiX, so they chose purples.

A little while after, Mary began trying on dresses. First was a ballgown with a matching long veil. She looked very elegant in it, but she didn't really like the lack of movement she got from it.

Next was a thinner dress with a skirt with layers of tulle and a short veil that made Mary think back to the mourning veil she once wore to leave school. Once again, she looked absolutely beautiful, but Aragon said no. When Mum says no you better not question it.

Finally, Mary tried on the last dress that had caught her eye. A beautiful dress with an intricate designed top and a skirt that flowed from the waist. She didn't pair it with a veil, but instead she imagined a small pin tucked into a her hair done in a bun that sparkled when it caught the light.

She exited the changing room and first thing she heard was her mother's gasp of delight. Jane's breath hitched as she looked at her stepdaughter. Mary stood smiling happily as she surveyed the faces of her closed friends and family. Alisa stood first and walked around Mary, making sure the dress was beautiful on all angles, which it was.
