people are everywhere. some opening their locker, others looking confused, some laughing with their friends, this one guy is even making out hardcore with this beautiful girl. they look much older. maybe juniors or seniors.
"uh, i wasnt expecting that." zoe snears as the looks over at the boy and girl kissing.
"yeah me either." i agree as we keep on walking. "we need to find our lockers." i say. "mine says locker number 3." i say stopping and looking down at the paper that the principal gave all of the freshmen.
zoe frowns as she looks down at hers "mine is locker number 16." she says. "so i'm assuming we won't have lockers anywhere near each other."
"that sucks." i say as we start walking again.
a few minutes pass of us trying to find where our lockers are. a few older kids snicker at our confusion as we walk the halls looking at all the locker numbers.
"i think we have to split up and try to find our lockers." i suggest. "because i'm assuming that they assign lockers based on alphabetical order." i say frowning.
"yeah i'll go look for mine and you go look for yours." zoe says. "text me when you find it."
"okay, i'll see you fourth block." i remind her. we only have one class together and that's fourth block, our last class.
i go in the opposite direction of zoe in hopes of finding my locker before class starts. my mom and i came her last week go put all my stuff in my locker but i can barley remember where it was.
i walk quickly through the hallways. even though this schools population isn't of much, the school is pretty big. i pull out my phone to see it zoe has texted me. nothing. i look at the time. 7:53. school starts in seven minutes. worry washes over me as i continue searcher for my locker. where could it be? i ask myself. i start to text zoe as i'm turning around the corner and i feel a hard thud against my head and all my books fall out of my unzipped backpack and i hear a groan.
