Chapter 8- New years

Whoo, i'm finally updating after tons of procrastination.

It had been a few months since they moved in, mostly spent getting used to  the new time. Today was new years eve. (It takes place mostly in current time minus covid.)

"AFSUSGHSUS KAT HELP THEY'RE GAINING UP ON ME" Anne screamed at Kat as she was being chased by Jane and Catherine.

Kat giggled at the antics of the older queens.

Cathy walked in with a hot chocolate and watched the other queens chase each other.

"Sorry to cut you guys short, but today is new years eve." Cathy announced to the other queens.

Jane stopped chasing Anne and proclaimed "we should all go to the mall and shop for some new years items."

Cathy had a skeptical look, "uh- I think we'd get kicked out if we all went."

"We could go in pairs!" Kat pitched in.

"Huh, that doesn't seem like a bad idea," Cathy agreed.

"Well then, get someone get Anna down and we'll split into pairs once we get to the mall," Jane declared.

As soon as they got to the mall they split into pairs.

"I'll go with Kat!" Anne decided and the cousins ran off, Anne kinda dragging the younger one of the two.

"Well, I guess I will go with Catherine." Jane decided

"That leaves us then, Anna," Cathy pointed out.

With Kat and Anne

"Kat, look!" Anne yelled after dragging Kat into a shop.

"Silly string?" Kat said, a bit puzzled on why she brought her to some silly string.

"Everyone else is probably getting just basic hats and party horns, so we have to one up them!" Anne explained.

Kat's eyes lit up at the idea.

"Yes! What color though?" Kat asked.

"All of the colors," Anne said mischievously.

Jane and Catherine

"

We should get a prank horn for Anne." Catherine suggested.

"How so?" Jane asked, with a michevious smirk."

'Like, goop comes out or it doesn't make any noise or something" Catherine explained.

"Like that one that says soundless slime prank horn green?" Jane asked.

"exactly," Catherine said with a smirk.

Cathy and Anna

Cathy and Anna were walking around a party store.

"We should get these party poppers." Anna suggested.

Cathy nodded, "And these horns, they say their louder than normal so that's fun."

"And these party crowns that say 'Happy New years', along with these." (I forgot the name of it but it's the thing that pops out when you blow on it.) Anna added.

"That's it, but they're probably going to take a while trying to find weird products the sabotage each other, so lets check out and get ice cream or something." Cathy decided.

30 minutes later

They all met up with bags outside of the mall.

"Hey, why do you guys have ice cream? It's December!" Kat asked.

"Because we felt like getting ice cream." Anna answered.

After they got home Cathy and Anna unpacked all their stuff, Catherine and Jane went to Jane's room to set up Anne's sabotaged horn, while Kat and Anne Silly stringed Catherine's room walls And Anna and Cathy divided everyones' things.

December 31st 11:30 pm

"Hey Anne, Catherine and I got you a horn" Jane said, trying not to smile.

"Really?!" Anne asked. She blew it and goop came out, the horn not even making a noise.

Jane and Catherine started laughing way too hard. Anne took Green and pink silly string and sprayed it at both of their faces, Kat, sitting at the counter giggled a bit, Cathy sat back drinking hot coco, while Anna grabbed some silly string from the stash and sprayed at Kat's face. It ended up as a war.

11:59 pm

"5! 4! 3! 2! 1! HAPPY NEW YEAR."

They blew horns and opened poppers, it was chaotic, but they wouldn't have it any other way. Happy new years.

A/N- Happy new years everyone, have a great 2021 everyone. This year was a bad year, but I met some of the best people, although this year was bad, I'm glad I met the people I did. Happy new years everybody!
